Harrisburg, PA

I agree. For new construction, it can’t be much more expensive to just provide individual unisex stalls with doors and be done with all this nonsense. Everyone would like it better to have more privacy and there would be offsetting cost savings because so much space in existing restrooms is wasted empty space. Make each one wide enough for a wheelchair and that problem is solved as well. As a builder I’d rather hear Trump propose common-sense ideas like this.
I could only take a few minutes of Rush but he’s blabbering about how ignorant Trump must be to not understand Harriet Tubman was a Republican and transgender nonsense. Can’t listen to Rush anymore. The gender bathroom question was a “gotcha”. I think they were hoping for Trump to say he agreed with NC - The Fluke issue of 2016!

My definition of ‘transgender’ is you no longer have the equipment you were born with, and replaced it with the other equipment. I believe in some states, at least, you are issued a new birth certificate showing the new sex. You can go to that sex bathroom.
My understanding is Bruce Jenner still has his equipment, therefore he’s a man that wears dresses, makeup, and has big boobs. He needs to use the men’s room.
There are only so many routes you can take in MD on the Eastern Shore to get to certain places. And depending on where his plane landed, the route is all but known.
I’ve worked many times at the US Census Bureau. For years where they ask whats your race and they give a list. We are instructed in training to never put down anything they don’t address.
If you see they are Asian and they say another race put exacting what they claim. Several times New Yorker’s would try to argue with me about the difference between Latino or Spanish. I would always say you choose. If they were uncertain and wanted my opinion I couldn’t make a comment. This has been the rule for many years.
That’s my opinion too, in fact I can’t really believe this is even an issue. But as is is stated on Wikipedia: “In the United States, classifying a person’s sex as male or female is left to the jurisdiction of the states.”
Presidents can have opinions and can use their influence one way or another, but the bottom line is, nothing any Presidential candidate says or thinks is going to make any difference in what a state or a state (or federal) court decides about it.
The elite media loves to try to catch Trump in these “gotcha” questions and they would ridicule his answer regardless of how he answered it or if he was Cruz-like and ignored it. This is and will remain an unimportant factor in the election.
