Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)said Wednesday morning that a contested Republican convention is certain and that supporters of Donald Trump are ultimately helping Hillary Clinton reach the White House.
During a radio interview for a Philadelphia morning show, Cruz predicted with certainty that the Republican Party is headed to a contested convention. He suggests Trump supporters might as well put a Hillary sticker on your car.

Oh I am. And it doesnt include Trump or Hillary or Bernie. Therefore if it comes down to that. I wont participate.
Unquote.
Fair enough and I for one understand and respect those that would refuse to vote for a candidate that , in their own judgment, does not meet “the minimum standard”. But if you do not intend to participate, once Cruz is gone, perhaps you can stop trolling those here who are actively trying to fight the Hillary machine.
Will you do that?
I say that as a Trump/Cruz 2016 guy, I still think that would be the best ticket to assure unity.
And might I ask who the hell are you Cruz people to lecture anyone on this site at this point?
Your candidate lost to that guy from Ohio, so you can knock off the idea that you people (Cruzettes) know what on Earth you are even talking about.

D@mn straight losers always have a much better chance.
Then I extend an olive branch. Best way to beat Hillary and save our country now is to get behind Trump. Hes not the most conservative, but he is a step in the right direction and very well could pull it off. If we get just a wall we are better off then we were...
And it will depend on what Trump does now that he is the most likely nominee that will determine if I want to roll the dice and take a chance with him.
I do disagree with Cruz’s assessment that Trump would be as bad or worse than Hillary. Hillary would allow a North Korea nuke attack on US soil for cash.
In the end, we both want the same thing. Keeping that lying, corrupt bitch as far from the WH as we can. I’m beginning to feel bad for poor Nixon
It seems that cRuz is a great student of Alinsky. He’s now completely engaged in the projection phase.
What cRuz doesn’t realize, is that Trump’s skills way outperform any loser Marxist/progressive rulebook....and Trump will continue cRushing cRuz every step of the way...before cRuz even realizes what’s happening.
Sorry, Cruz youre wrong on this one. The ones that should put a Hillary bumper sticker on their cars are the Never Trump and Never Cruz folks.
Yep, the colors are shining through and my dislike for him continues to rise.
His daddy is yapping too, what a pair these 2 make!
Every Republican candidate in the last 50 years has said the same thing and we not only still have it, but the add a thousand pages or so every year. Congress will never fix the IRS because it is the easiest way for them to pay off debts
Cruz has that bumper sticker mentality going on.
The last time some junior Senator whose supporters claimed he was the Messiah and was a Harvard lawyer with a questionable citizenship talked like that we got Obama. Different party, same attitude.
Cruz thinks that while losing to Trump he can win against the democrats but Trump cannot also win against the democrats. Got it.
The dumbing down of American on display.
OK that convinces me. Mittens it is.
Yeah pretty damn hard to go with that considering all of the vile insults and continued attacks.
Trump supporters make it quite hard to stomach Trump. Even more then he does.
They wouldn't do that, after all they are much, much smarter than the Trumpeters.
And they are far too “principled” to skip the election.
Ted has confirmed the fact that the GOPe want him to be the guy to deliver the concession speech to Hillary, just like they selected McCain to comfort us not to be “skeeered” of an Obama Presidency during the final debate in 2007, in a de facto concession speech.
If even 10% stay home, Hillary wins.
Trump has the base, it is Cruz who is at the fringe.
The same is true the other way, If Cruz takes the nomination in a manner that causes 10 % of the 18 million Trump supporters to fail to vote (~1.8 million) and losses the 6 million he brought in, the republicans go from ~67 million votes to just around 60~61 million.
Unity ticket sure would be nice,
