A Donald Trump-Sen. Ted Cruz unity ticket seems less likely now that Cruz told the Good Morning America audience on Monday that he has zero interest, whatsoever in being Trumps pick for vice-president.
Bonnie Pointer, who was described as an undecided voter from Vacaville, California, asked Cruz via video, Would you accept being Donald Trumps Vice President?
Cruz thanked Bonnie for her question saying, Let me just answer very simply, I have zero interest, whatsoever, in doing it.

Good, I had zero interest in him being VP for Trump.
Cubanadians are not eligible.
He’s a Cruz supporter in April 2016. You have expectations of him that are way too high.
No Kasich,if you like Amnesty, & climate change, you will like him.
I am pretty sure he would easily be reelected in Texas I believe. I also believe by running a strong second he is positioning himself for another run at the presidency if Trump fails or if Clinton is elected.
I think Ted knows that ship sailed. He has totally screwed himself over and will end up back in the Senate with nothing to show for all the money and debate. Maybe Ted is not quite as smart as I thought he was. Sometimes common sense trumps smart. (no pun intended) :-)
“Cruz s supposed to come in third tonight. NY is s liberal state and regardless of the ultimate Republican candidate, Hillary will still win NY by 20 points.”
Ah and there it is, the spin. Cruz is supposed to come in third among republican primary voters in New York because well, its a liberal state.... there is no such thing as a real republican there....
So, what’s the spin for Cruz not winning a single state except Maine to date east of the Mississippi? Are you going to claim he should have lost NC, SC, VA, KY, FL, AL, AK, MO, GA, MS, TN... etc, were those nothing but liberal states?
Would you argue Texas is a liberal state? Trump came in second there.
Cruz, bluntly just can’t win, and its delusion to believe that he’s going to get the nomination at a contested convention. The only state east of the Mississippi he’s won is ME, hes coming in third place in places during the home stretch (yes Virginia, NY will not be the only state where Cruz is going to come in last in the coming contests), and has only shown consistent victory is western caucus states. The notion he will swing 300 or 400 or 500 delegates his way in a contested convention with that track record is living in denial.
“I predict Trump will pick Rand Paul as his VP.”
I could go for that in a big way!
Constitutionally grounded, articulate, Sen. Paul could enhance the Trump ticket by attracting younger voters. I really like that.
Cruz general election prospects were grim at best from the get go, even without Trump in the race. Yes the party would rather take a loss than lose control, however Cruz has no shot at the nomination. He’s smart enough to know this, at this point he’s just trying to play spoiler so he can get whatever back room deal he was offered to be the spoiler. He’s not fighting for the white house, hes fighting for whatever deal he agreed to in that back room.
Typical Washington behavior... and they wonder why Trump keeps winning.
Trump has his own anti-union record to worry about. I'm sure the Democrats will try and exploit that in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania in the fall.
I beg to differ. Dry white toast is considerably more exciting than Hillary Clinton.
lol, Trump has worked well with unions in several states.

Labor Unions Donald Trump Endorsement Draws Fire From Immigration Activists
The two potential running mates that Trump has mentioned are:
1. Oprah http://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-oprah-would-be-a-great-vice-president/
He'll build the wall after making a deal with the Dems to fast track immigration through the wall. And he will grow the power of government exponentially because he's a "doer" and doers don't downsize their role, they increase it. Trump will insert the Trump government into every aspect of our lives, because Trump knows how to make that work. And the more idiotic of his supporters will just smile and grab their ankles, happy that he's getting something done.
They were born in America at least.
Trump has said he will need someone who can work with Congress, which leaves Palin out.
Rhetoric, nothing more.
Cruz currently has no interest in being Trump’s VP. Trump currently has no interest in being VP to Cruz. Both are technically true.
Let Trump win the nomination on the first vote, and Cruz may change his mind (which would be good for America). Let Trump watch his delegates desert him after the first ballot and Cruz ask for support to win the third ballot, and Trump may be willing to team up as VP for Cruz to nominate an anti-immigration conservative (which would be good for America). We’ll see when the time comes.
And is currently battling attempts to unionize the staff at his Las Vegas hotel in the courts, and losing at all levels. Union members may not like their leadership but they like their unions. And Trump being someone who actively fought unionization may not go over well with members who might otherwise have supported him.
Unions in NY, NJ and Chicago don’t give a crap about a dispute in LV.
Trump is way smarter than JFK was with LBJ. Having Lyin’ Ted as his VP would add a “dimension” to his protective service. Trump would have to avoid driving by the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, and a numerous other places as well.
Keep telling yourself that.
