I still wear leather coats, however it has become so amazing how many freedoms we have actually lost when I look back at all of the lovely things in life we have lost because of PC!!! I bought a beautiful faux fur from Dennis Basso, I used to live in the High desert in CA. winters were cold, some stupid woman was SCREAMING at me in grocery store parking lot, how many animals were killed for my coat!!! Stupid idiot ended up apologizing to me, she said coat looked so real, I told her she NEEDED to mind her own DAMNED business and get a life!!!
I think we still have my mom’s “mouton” long coat from the 40’s. I’ve never worn it.
I bet the beaver coat feels great in WI winters and I suspect you don’t have as many tree huggers there as we do here.

Lucky you. Alot of us with olive skin can’t do the yellows. Makes us look jaundice. Not a good look. My daughter has reddish blonde hair, green eyes and more pale skin tone. Yellow looks great on her - Green looks gorgeous.
No I am in hunting territory. No tree huggers here. Can’t believe the compliments I receive. It looks great with jeans and I am always toasty!
I wear NOTHING but back and white, have a huge supply of lint rollers, never fails the minute I get dressed my long haired white kitty wants to rub on me!!! His NEW Trump sweater has come in very handy for this problem!!!

I still wear leather and suede coats, too. People gripe about fur, but wear leather shoes, belts, etc. Yes, I can’t believe how PC our country has become.

I LOVE beaver fur it has to be my favorite !!! I have ALWAYS wanted a silver fox jacket, however when I was old enough to be able to afford one, I would never be able to wear it anywhere without someone throwing paint on me!!! Beaver fur is SO silky, funny how it NEVER looks that way on the beaver!!!

LOL, I have a mink coat that I’ve had for years, now used for my very cold winters. Some woman made some nasty comments once and I said, looks real doesn’t it?
Since she then thought she was mistaken, she shut up and apologized. After all, who would wear a mink with levi’s to check out a horse for sale?
