Cruz claims he's won 'landslides over and over' – even though only one of them held an election

Ted Cruz boasted Monday morning that he has won 'landslides' in the last five states to award Republican convention delegates, even though only one of those states held a popular-vote election.

'There have been a total of five states that have voted in the last three weeks,' he claimed during a town hall event on 'Good Morning America.'

'In those states, starting with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states. And he lost all five. We have won five in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit.'

Cruz reiterated moments later that in 'five states in a row, we've won landslides over and over and over again.'

So what part of what I said was a lie? I’m real fond of truth telling and always include my sources.

Its rich that you would promote Ted and call Donald Trump slippery. Talk about telling me its raining and ..... Trump is brash and honest to a fault, bowling over several single sacred cows in a single bound. His honesty has reframed the entire election cycle while Cruz has put to rest the idea that an honest politician exists.

Cruz is delusional. Must be his messiah complex.

If it is what the people of Colorado agreed to then yes. You’re only saying this because Trump fell down on the job.

Boy, you Cruz folks are not paying attention.

And if what you say is true, why were so many in Colorado angry enough to go out and protest this insider fraud?

Colorado voter protest in front of the Colorado State House, April, 2016.

Maybe Trump supporters like the drama of a protest but not the tedium of actually participating in the process.

What do you mean participate? There was no vote of the people. One man, one vote. Do you understand what that is? Those in Colorado were never even given a chance to vote.

ah see the next talking point on here bythe establishment is that NY and these others states would g for Clinton anyway.
course forgetting the awful display in the swing states which matter FL, VA where cruz never won a single county, and came third in both. OH third.

WI was a big win for him I am told but then again that will go Dem anyway.

See the pick and choose and change talking points is all I see from the cruz supporters now.

LOL My wife and daughter said the same.

They said they remind them of a dirty perverted man. He is the kind of man if you had as a neighbor where you tell your kids to stay away from.

Been doing the same to two of them on just one thread all day.

they repeat their talking points and then think they should not be questioned.

he was against the establishment before he was for it.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.

Imagine being a marine in Afghanistan and you are form CO where you were denied your vote.

Imagine being at home hearing this knowing you could not vote for the candidate.

Yep he sure is not smart, but to him it is all about how he looks and tries to make out he is a winner.

Delegates are chosen in some cases in CO in the front room of a house for crying out loud. Yep grass roots there wen the establishment is in that house controlling it.

Sorry, but if you come out and blame a person who is the victim of paid political disruptors for the actions of paid political disruptors you aren’t upping your brand at least not with the population.

Cruz has damaged himself beyond belief this election cycle, the idea he’s building like Reagan for next time is quite comical to me.

When this started I liked Cruz, but felt he had zero chance in a general election, now I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t wind up losing his senate re-election bid in 18.

It's both....some left, others remain but don't vote, and others do vote...the point is they aren't here who once were, primarily because the threads have been so vile, and for that the poll will not reflect an accurate poll. As for the owner trashing either candidate I haven't seen that, having an opinion on how each is conducting their "campaign" is not bashing. ....And he's made it clear regardless. that if Cruz or Trump win we need to support the winner, and I agree with him.

cruz has a lot in common with obama

first term senators who do not want to finish their first term.
Questions about birth.
Ivy league
Same college Harvard.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Voting for yet another ivy league lawyer who became an elected official who has not even finished his first term is insanity,

Oh give me a break!...Trump a “victim”...hahahahahahah!.... But then that IS what the left does and basks in when they don’t get their way so it’s no surprise Trump does likewise when he’s failed, nor is it a surprise his followers , in lock step, use his same whining victimization.

What’s really hilarous is that Trump has convinced you guys that only someone who spent his life ‘buying political favors’ can save them from people who buy political favors!

Look Trump well KNOWS the process as his twitter comments from 2012 are out there for all to see in which Trump was criticizing and mocking Santorum’s campaign for whiffing on his poor grassroots organization and efforts to secure delegates in these very same states where Trump is crying foul now.

What you guys should be asking is why your leader hasn’t been working this past 10 months to secure grassroots support, thus ensuring election of his slate of delegates. So your anger about things being rigged is misplaced, it should be directed at Trump for purposely FAILING.....Just like when McCAin didn’t fight for the Presidency either.
