Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is expected to announce this week that Alexander Hamilton's face will remain on the front of the $10 bill and a woman will replace Andrew Jackson on the face of the $20 bill, a senior government source told CNN on Saturday.
Lew announced last summer that he was considering redesigning the $10 bill to include the portrait of a woman. The decision to make the historic change at the expense of Hamilton drew angry rebukes from fans of the former Treasury Secretary. The pro-Hamilton movement gained steam after the smash success of the hip-hop Broadway musical about his life this year.
Those pressures led Lew to determine that Hamilton should remain on the front of the bill. Instead, a mural-style depiction of the women's suffrage movement -- including images of leaders such as Susan B. Anthony -- will be featured on the back of the bill.

A walking liberty like on the old silver dollars
They don't care too much which woman, just any woman. When people reply, which they obviously will, that we only put former PRESIDENTS on our paper money, then they will use that to say ,,, ok then It's time to elect Hillary
Isis will stop using twenties
Only former presidents?
You don’t like Franklin on the c-note?
Pam Anderson
“Marilyn Monroe?
Pam Anderson”
Please, dear god, NOT Kim Khardashian..
Real name: Jacob Lewinski
A Southern Redneck I know said that they don’t like using $50 Bills because Grant is on them.
I never thought to ask why they don’t complain about Pennies and $5 Bills.
So because Jackson lacked a vagina,he gets dumped. What a bunch of horse manure.
When a woman becomes president, twenty years after she leaves office, she should be eligible to be on the bill. Providing she can get enough support from Congress, I’m fine with it, as long as she is a worthy person.
We have plenty of male presidents who never made it. Why should we place a woman there for reasons a man couldn’t be placed there?
Should we open it up to just anyone now?
How about Rush Limbaugh? Should we place him there?
I don’t agree with that, if others do.
That is just the kind of thing they want us to approve in the way of a woman on one of our bills.
This is a way to remove a person from a bill, and kiss up to women.
It’s a poor idea for both reasons.
I think you're right.
Perfect retribution against Andrew Jackson for doing what should have stuck and killing off the Federal Reserve Bank.
Time to start hoarding 20’s and to get a rubber stamp and red ink to be used on the new ones.
I’d say Monica, but you can’t get one of those for 20 bucks....anymore.
Might as well eliminate the $1 and $5 dollar bills. Ten dollars today will buy what $1 bought fifty years ago.
Well, whichever bill it is, I will draw Groucho glasses on every one I get my hands on.
How about Caitlin Jenner? Symbol of US decadence.
A woman is on all of my bills...isn’t that enough?
Hey, wait a minute - why aren’t they putting any blacks on bills, or hispanics, or... trannies?
This is grossly unfair.
