NEW YORK — A stunningly distracted crowd of hundreds of Republicans almost entirely ignored Ted Cruz's speech at the New York City GOP gala on Thursday night, instead chattering at their dinner tables, standing and taking selfies. Several casually left the dinner altogether.

The crowd's stark disregard for Cruz's remarks followed months of controversy over Cruz's suggestion in January that Donald Trump has "New York values."

Jeff Rowe is one hell of a genius. If Cruz wins this it would be because of his team.

I guess it would go along with hiring the brightest and smartest people.

Rush blamed FoxNews as the culprit. But was FoxNews the only network there? (doubtful). So did the same happen with other news broadcasters who were covering the event? If so, then it was more likely to be a technical issue. If not, then it was likely an intentional prank.

Because they, and 75% of the voters thus far, do not like him. States that caucus or just cancel elections, like him, though.

Add to that the fact that Cruz is from TEXAS. That alone is enough to give him the cold shoulder in the northeast. It only adds fuel to the fire.

I’m sure the folks in the Northeast blame Cruz for all the people and jobs leaving for Texas.

“If so, then it was more likely to be a technical issue. If not, then it was likely an intentional prank. “

Rush blamed EVERYBODY. He sounded off his meds.

More telling is, no one cared. By the end of this month any momentum Cruz managed to fabricate will vaporize. It’ll be interesting to see if he can muster up enough interest to win anything by the first.

Jeff Roe uses techniques and analysis that is way ahead of other campaigns. Trump is a one man marketing machine nothing more. He figures his name recognition will get him over the top. Cruz has to actually work at getting his message out and it reflects on the hundreds of thousands of volunteers. Think about it, out of 17 candidates Cruz is second in the delegate count and if others got out before their expiry date, He may have been at 700 to 800 by now. With FNC in the tank for Trump, one can say that Cruz is doing very very well.

Who cares about techniques? His problem is with voters. Maybe fix that, no?

And this is why most politicians won't tell the truth.

Tell people what they want to hear and they won't get into a pique over what you said.

“Was it necessary to post that entire conversation or were you just being a Clymer?”

I was being lazy. I did not want to edit the whole piece down so I merely posted all the text.

Crickets because the mics were set up so you couldn’t hear. He received applause and photos were taken. He also spoke about issues.

They served dinner at the time Cruz came on. If his mike was cut off then all the TV audience hear is the rest of the noise in the room. But that is not what the people in the room would have heard. The basic problem is that Cruz came on last.

He may have been at 700 to 800 by now.

Not even close to that imaginary number that you quote.

Delegate results 1,237 needed for nomination · 852 still available

Rafael has 545, Trump 744.

Hard math: Cruz now needs 9 of 10 delegates to clinch, and John Kasich can’t get there at all

Yes, according to Rush, Cruz is getting picked on, all of the time. Because he is a ‘true conservative’.
