I’m finally beginning to almost catch up. I’m such a snoop, wanting to read everything everyone said until I finely get to the current posts. This will be one of the few times I get to do this until after next week. Going to be very busy, Lord willing, planning and organizing hubby’s and my 50th wedding anniversary for next Sat. It’s going to be YUGGE. We know a lot of people. Preparing for 100, and pray the food doesn’t run out.
Nice to see that we share that Scottish heritage and family castle. There is a picture of mine that I post from time to time. I love looking at it and imagining what it was like when my “genes” were living there. James Stewart, the Black Knight of Lorne lived there(1625). I think his father, William, built it. When the wars came the family fled across the waters to Donegal, Ireland and eventually came to America and landed in S.C. and my part of the family went on to Tennessee.
My grandfather was a farmer, but mostly raised Sheep. He was a big Scotsman who carried a long staff and always had a Collie to herd the sheep. I can still see him and his dog down in the pasture gathering Sheep up to the barn for shearing. My grandmother carded the wool and spun thread. Seems strange that the old ways lasted that long and it really hasn’t been that many years ago. I still have so much Scots blood, I cry when I hear bagpipes.

No, but I saw this evening someone comparing him to FDR and the light bulb went on in my head. YES! I remember FDR and that is why Trump seemed so familiar to me. It had not occurred to me before. I’m betting we will be seeing some of those “fireside” talks. It’s a feeling from my childhood when we were at war and FDR would come on the radio and calm our fears. And he was both loved and hated.

Another fun day and night together watching Trump. I can’t remember the media recording live ALL the rallies of candidate. It’s like on the one hand everyone puts on that he doesn’t exist, then on the other, we can’t get enough of the man.
I really think by November, he will carry every single state in the country, and with it a full House and Senate and Governorships all republican.

She is apparently speaking about the 18 bonus delegates that Trump received in TN for his statewide win (38.94% of the vote). Looks like they are attempting to block Trump’s people from standing as these delegates.

I’m off to my brother’s construction site to pick up a little lumber so that I can build some benches in the bed of my pickup truck. I’m going to shuttle long distance hikers along the Pacific Crest Trail for most of the hiking season in California, Oregon, and Washington.
I’ll probably miss the live rally in Syracuse, but I will catch it on replay and join in the merriment on the Trump Family Thread then... Syracuse U. is an EVIL indoctrination camp for the hardcore left. I expect the opposing forces to be out in great numbers and I look for incremental increases in their tactics to incite the Trump faithful.
