The Joe Paterno statue was removed Sunday morning from its pedestal outside Beaver Stadium, and it will be stored in an unnamed "secure location," Penn State president Rodney Erickson announced. Erickson also said the Paterno name will remain on the university's library.

But the morons in the media and some morons right here on FR are off on a tangent that Trump's saying he will ressurect Old Joe from the dead.
Wait until they see how the fallout helps Donald in the polls.
So darned tired of young Americans having to “heal.” Bunch of spoiled fools. I went to Catholic schools and had a teacher who used to spank my butt. (Now dead.) We all knew he was a fairy but we liked him anyway. Frankly we didn’t give a rat’s ass, weren’t bigoted then and aren’t now. The USA is a nation of sissy illiterates - the undergrads anyway. Not one rich white kid can talk about anything under the sun without invoking some sort of invented injustice.
Pingaroo!
“How is Joe Paterno doing?”
Why would he ask how a statue is doing?
One would not go to Florence and ask, “How is David doing?”
One would not go to Washington D.C. and ask, “How is Abe Lincoln doing?”
Joe Paterno never spanked anyone’s butt. The whole thing was incomprehensible to him, and he said so. So that’s it for him. What with LGBT and all, the whole thing is sick. Just sick.
Because the news in PA is filled with stories of how the statue is coming back, that’s why.
Here’s a recent story on the subject:
http://www.pennlive.com/news/2016/02/new_joe_paterno_statues_being.html
The crowd he was addressing knew exactly what he was talking about. The morons in the media and those here on FR, not so much.
They made the statue a fountain at the gay bar. It gets put on the lead float for their parade.
What perverts do is irrelevant except when it comes to persecuting Christians or forcing themselves on the public square.
Trump’s comment was made as part of the war on PC.
Pennsylvanians get what he was talking about.
No, it isn't.
Heres a recent story on the subject:
That story is two months old and appears on Penn Live, which is the webpage of the Harrisburg Patriot News. Nobody at University Park or State College, PA reads that blog, it's even less read in Pittsburgh.
Till the the Trump mention, literally nobody in PA was talking about this.
It’s like saying; “Do you have Prince Albert in a can?”

The kiddie fiddler vote is that big?
The news stories about the statue have been consistently appearing since 2012. That’s a fact. Anyone can fact check that and see for themselves.
One only needs to search “Return of Joe Paterno Statue” and stories pop up from Foxnews stations to the LA Times, from UsaToday to CNN.
I have a search list up right now that has page after page of news stories about return of the statue, The subject is well-known to Pennsylvanians.
> “The kiddie fiddler vote is that big?”
For you maybe.
But the national media are already trending with it and many are already admitting the comments were about the statue, not the actual person.
Why is Trump asking about a Paterno statue?
It's a rhetorical question. Get an education.
War on PC.
It was taken down for PC reasons and Pennsylvanians have been talking about putting it back up.
I know a lot about Pennsylvania, and its great. Hows Joe Paterno? Were gonna bring that back? Right?...How bout that whole deal?
My condolences.
You are obviously watching trends on Bizarro Google
He should be celebrated for playing with young boy butts. I would think.
