Captain obvious here again, but NeverTrump/NeverCruz is not the way. We all have our favorites, but don't lose sight of the mission.
The mission on FR is to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our POSTERITY!!
It's a lot bigger than you or me or our personal opinions or egos. It's about the very survival of our nation and the promise of freedom for future generations.
Reagan said that freedom is never more than one generation from extinction and he was 100% correct.
President Clinton or President Sanders means the end of freedom in America.
Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!
Free Republic will support our Republican nominee whoever he is against the godless Marxist/socialist Democrats in November!!
Trump and Cruz and more importantly their followers uniting to stop the establishment and crush the democrats in the general would be my first choice.
Again is there someplace I can read it as we keep hearing rules are done for each convention. Thank you.
.
The establishment has no sway on the voters in Wisconsin.
It was The fake scandals that Trump and the media were throwing into the mix that blew the roof off, and it is spreading along the rim of the lakes rapidly.
I can’t see why it wouldn’t cover the country. They have shown who they fear, and everyone can see that.
Then you are not hearing it all. Or have your mind set so don’t hear it.
Sessions and millions of conservative supporters hear it.
Agree with this 1000%. We must defeat the true enemy at all costs.
“You apparently are not gifted in the area of continuity of thought.”
You know what..give it a break with your high handed crap!
Instead why don’t you lay out why, against all odds your candidate would win the state. I have stated many times here why Cruz would get smoked in Florida and Virginia.
Maybe you could do the same with Wisconsin.
The establishment including Ryan and Walker and all the big GOP donors and PACS were pushing Cruz and damning Trump 24/7 in every district and precinct.
Mine too. But I think Cruz has to pile up delegates primarily to get over Trump’s yuge ego.
Thanks for that information. I may not have been clear I know about recent rules I was wondering where I could read that it has alway been this way since the GOP was founded as you stated in your post. Thanks for your polite reply.
Yep
.
There is one thing that is certain in this election: Trump does not believe that his business can survive without illegal underclass workers being beholden to him.
There isn’t a shred of doubt about Trump’s Amnesty plans, and his willingness to give the finger to the constitution.
.
Yes, I never expected Cruz or Trump to get anywhere. This was when I supported Cruz.
Trump led the way, by saying ‘controversial’ things that drew the attacks from the liberals, MSM, and his own party. He took all the arrows. Only when Cruz saw that the people liked what Trump said did he follow in Trump’s footsteps. Without Trump, illegal immigration would not have even been a discussion.
If they would combine forces, the GOPe wouldn’t be able to put in their own candidate. All this might be for nothing.
In Wisconsin, Every candidate Bernie, Hillary, Cruz, Kasich had negative or stop Trump ads. The super pacs were 24/7. All talk radio was #nevertrump. Cruz had the rino blessing of Ryan, Walker, Johnson. I have never seen an election where one candidate had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at him. I cant imagine any other candidate being able to withstand this constant barrage. It was relentless. There were the usual rumors of voter fraud in Waukesha County. Yet, Trump still got 35% of the vote and Cruz couldnt break 50%. And Trump won Ryan’s hometown of Janesville Wi (Rock County).
Period. End of argument. Sanders makes us Venezuela. Clinton makes us Zimbabwe.
.
Florida and Virginia haven’t had an honest election in a decade.
Wisconsin on the other hand, has stood up to the most underhanded politics I have ever observed in the labor attack on Walker, and came out on top with room to spare.
.
Let's push that and ignore the naysayers. Grass roots, rise up! When the people lead, the leaders will follow.
I’ll vote for either Trump or Cruz. Never understood all the nastiness.
“It is entirely possible that Cruz understands this and is playing them. Think back to three months ago where Cruz and Trump were on the best of terms and wouldn’t even criticize each other. It makes more sense to think that then was the real thing and now is the Kabuki Show rather than the reverse.”
I pray you are right. Back then, I was hoping for a team effort. But have since given up that hope when the nastiness between them became so intense.
Trump does not believe that his business can survive without illegal underclass workers being beholden to him.
.
The big difference now is that Trump and much of the media have blown the lid off their credibility with all the fake scandals and the fake “lies” that Trump has constantly accused Cruz of every time he exposed one of Trump’s inconsistencies.
It was so over-done that it stormed into everyone’s consciousnesses. There won’t be any going back now.
