Republican National Committee member Randy Evans said Wednesday that Donald Trump would likely be able to secure the Republican nomination if he captures anything more than 1,100 delegates, short of the 1,237 delegates needed for a simple majority.
"If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1,237," Evans said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
Evans' comment is good news for Trump if it's a sentiment shared by other RNC members, since Trump is at risk of falling short of a majority of delegates by the time of the convention in July. But Evans also warned that if Trump slips much more, the nomination would likely fall to someone else.

I was responding to the statement about Trump having the support of many GOPe members that weren’t willing to publicly support him...yet....
It is a double edged sword.
So.....ONE committee member can now dictate who wins?
How’s THAT fair? How’s THAT ok and not “stealing” the election?
Pfffft.....
A candidate really does need a large, solid ground game in each state to competely understand and do everything within the rules to secure there delegates.
Trump is calling “unfair” to the RNC/Gop every day. He is setting up to blame them if he loses, as he will not take responsibility for any loss he suffers.
Here is an example that shows he will never take responsibility for even a small error/mistake/misspeak:
He called the Biblical, 2nd Corinthians, “Two Corinthians”. When that was pointed out to him, he said, “Some foreign countries call it Two Corinthians.” That is psychologically Trump - never, ever, admit a weakness, an error, a mistake, find a way to “fix” it, explain it away, so he is never wrong.
Neil Cavuto........ Paging Neil Cavuto.
your excessive beating of the 1237 dead horse was useless
