In the wake of national outrage over perceived rigging in the presidential primary process, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh is urging political outsiders such as Donald Trump to learn the rules of the game if they wish to achieve success.
On his broadcast Tuesday, Limbaugh reminded listeners that both the Republican and Democratic Parties are private organizations, and are akin to businesses who dont want an outsider coming in and taking over the show.
The first order of business of any business is to stay open. The second order of business is to make sure the people who run it continue to run it. To stop coup detats, so to speak, Limbaugh said.

You tied Limbaugh up in a nutshell. Yes the Schumer thing really got to me. Total shill, will do whatever it takes to hold what he’s been given by us. I am letting my 24/7 subscription run out. I might listen sometimes for free on the radio but he has received all the money he is getting from me. Was thinking about buying his kids books, not now. I have been listening since 89 but I am done being a dittohead.
He isn’t even funny anymore. Every time he gets married, he gets stupid.
Much prefer Mark Steyn.
Lol! National outrage!
Internet Trump bronies having neighing hissy fits because Cruz understands the long established rules of the nomination process far better than alleged deal-making impresario El Donaldo.
That hardly qualifies as national outrage. Donald's team needs to get up to speed on the rules. They're not secret just because you haven't read them.
And “observer” is like Mike Wallace who once said if he was embedded with a bunch of guerillas about to ambush US soldiers he wouldn’t do or try a thing. That’s a journalist, that’s an opportunist. Apparently, our scion of conservatism has bents similar to those about which he said of Dan Rather, Mike Wallace, et al. It’s all about the money.
Rush doesn't seem to fathom that Trump is hell-bent on victory and is ready to cross the Rubicon.
Even the mighty Caesar hesitated a bit when he was at the edge of the Rubicon.
Teddy knows he's no winner. All he's interested in is tarnishing the Trump brand.
Meanwhile, Trump's rhetoric resembles the sort of talk that accompanies hostile takeover. An outsider claims that current management stinks, and entices shareholders to give them control. Of course the existing management will fight like the dickens!
I think this election transcends Limbaugh's ability to manipulate. Gotta credit him with putting up the good fight, but he's still overpaid.
“Rush has simply chosen not to bash the person (either one) who could be our nominee. In some cases he has spoken glowingly about one or both guys. But he has said again and again that it is his policy not to endorse.”
Your statement reveals that you haven’t been listening to Rush. Check out the Rush thread on FR for the last two months. In fact Rush lurks here on FR and reads that thread.
Rush has in fact been carrying Cruz’es water.
Nice going.
My fantasy Trump rally takes place in Yankee Stadium. Reggie Jackson, and Pete Rose make endorsement speeches for Trump before 60,000 Trumpsters in attendance.
You saying the Constitution is a game??
No, I’m asking that since you don’t like the system and want to tear things apart where do you plan to stop. Do you really think it will stop?
The left wants the system destroyed.
Trump is more conservative then Cruz.
1. Trumps positions are conservative enough Cruz copied them.
2. Trump is Pro-American sovereignty, prosperity and security.
3. Cruz has a history of promoting a globalist agenda:
- Helped draft Bush’s NAFTA as his Establishment Lawyer
- With Ryan pushed TPP and voted for TPA
- Blocked our ability to stop currency manipulation with trade partners.
-Tried to add an increase of 500 Percent H1B visas and doubling the number of Syrian Muslims coming into America with the gang of 8.
- Voted for the Patriot Act renewal.
- Is married to an author of the CFR’s NAU plan to destroy American sovereignty.
- Handed out gift baskets to illegals at the Border.
- Currently owned and managed by the Globalists
- Sides with BLM protestors against police.
- is the tool of the Globalists to try to prevent Trump from stopping their gravy train.
Much more
What exactly is Cruz conserving?
Trump is more of a conservative of American Sovereignty than Cruz is. Cruz is a GLOBALIST!
And just how do you rationalize the long list of the Establishment rulers who support Cruz as well as the numerous Pacs who are all for Cruz, including Soros backed?
“Rush has endorsed nobody in this race.”
That meme is getting old. Just because he has not used the “endorse” word does not mean that he has not been promoting Cruz at every chance since before the South Carolina primary.
He even finally admitted that Cruz can’t get the 1237 votes, and he even admits that the GOP will not give Cruz the nomination, but he still promotes Cruz in trying to stop Trump. So Limbaugh is still working his Sea Island globalist assignment.
“In the wake of national outrage over perceived rigging in the presidential primary process, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh is urging political outsiders such as Donald Trump to learn the rules of the game if they wish to achieve success.”
This is America. When the “rules” become more favorable to a corrupt and crushing government than they are to the American People; then we change them and the government who inflicted them upon us. That’s “The Rule”.
Rush’s very term “political outsiders” to describe Trump and his supporters and those who object to the current “system” gives him and them away in their mindset that they and he are of the ruling and acceptable hierarchy. They can keep their rules and their “insider” status as far as I’m concerned. I don’t think I care to adhere to the characteristics and mindset that would make me one of the “in crowd.”
I would like Rush to list, specifically, just what Cruz has accomplished the entire time he’s been in DC. What has Cruz gotten passed other than to run his mouth.
“Rush seems to feel that Trump will not be the Republican Party nominee. He feels that the party insiders will never let it happen.”
... and he seems to be perfectly, 100% okay with that.
