Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly says six state leaders are ousting her from the Eagle Forum organization she founded because of her support of Donald Trump, and five of them support Sen. Ted Cruz.
Schlafly released a statement Monday claiming the group is trying to take over the organization by controlling bank accounts, firing employees and hiring their own.
I think its an attempt to vote me out, Schlafly told the conservative World Net Daily. Its disloyal, and its terribly shocking, and Im completely depressed about it.
Among those Schlafly called out by name Monday was Cathie Adams, who served as Texas Eagle Forum president for the last 23 years.

I really goofed with the typos in #71. Of course, I meant that Phyllis was beyond reproach—not “approach.” She has been the most dedicated and effective American woman throughout the past two generations.
Cue spooky music .....
Shoving political enemies aside, for the greater cause. Uncle Joe would be proud of your attitude...
Probably a good move the old woman has become senile for supporting Trump....
“I take serious offense to that, whether I’m a Cruz supporter or not. You should as well.
I’m in the process of reporting for disgusting and inappropriate posting.”
Oh there there .you poor dear.
For 20 years conservatives have failed and the country has become much worse.
Conservative principled need to be overhauled. They are leading us to ruin and now Cruz has thrown in with those who have destroyed the country.
This is a pretty good analysis supporting the view of Ted Cruz as espousing the Dominionist Principles. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/warrenthrockmorton/2016/02/04/john-fea-on-ted-cruzs-dominionism/
Quoting 4 commie fever swamp sites is a poor way of stating a case to conservatives, just sayin.
Heck, most of this thread proves you right.
Spoken like a true,over the top,clueless,scruzebot.
I couldn’t figure out why the two groups couldn’t just get along for now, since Trump hasn’t put for any non-conservative policy issues, to date.
But, then I found it...it is not Trump’s non-conservative issue, it is Cruz’s non-conservative stance. One he’s already been proven to support, which is completely at odds with saving this nation’s sovereignty, as Phyllis so valiantly insists on defending and so so rightfully embraced Trump for defending:
“The organization opposes the idea of opening its borders to Mexico and Canada and are against international oversight from the United Nations and the International Criminal Court. In 2006, Eagle Forum began preparations to fight the introduction of the Amero Northern American currency.[11]”

You’re right. Who knew that Schlafly would become RINO, or that the president of Liberty University would be a RINO, or that our beloved Palin has gone RINO? Trump has drawn them out and into the light.
The organization is a prolife org. She announced that she is backing someone who has gone back and forth on life issues as well as not being prolife now. Pro life has no exceptions except life of the mother. It would be like being pro gun org and then a leader saying they want guns out of schools.
“”You arent standing up for what you believe in by voting the lesser of two evils. I dont know about you, but Im tired of being a political hooker. If you think the Republican or the Democrat really does best mirror your beliefs, by all means, vote for that candidate. But if you dont, and you still vote for them, youre helping to preserve the status quo you probably despise. So Whats the Point of Voting? We vote to tell everyone else which choice best represents the direction which we want the country to go. “”

Interesting, and I understand the sentiment. The only problem is and you called it, socialism, or anything and everything to please the masses, sells and wins. And of course ideas which contradict with the collectivist socialist ideas are vilified and attacked as are it’s proponents.
Hence Trump’s , close the border, bring back jobs, a paradigm shift in spoken policy. Trump truly is campaigning as the third party candidate, and why he has won so many hearts and souls.
Sure he’s a risk, every candidate is, getting up leaving the house is a risk.
ALso many who vote 3rd party do so with the notion that however it turns out I wasn’t responsible. Hogwash. If the greater of 2 evils wins you certainly helped out.
For example Ross Perot handing the election to Bill Clinton and Osama Bin Ladin. All though I was no great fan of Bush, he probably would have taken Osama out when he had the chance, hence no 9/11.
Can we know for sure, of course not, are we guilty of any great crime of conscience if we vote on a candidates promises, voting in good faith, of course not, is voting for some obscure candidate doing any good except with your own conscience, definatly not. In this election we have a third party candidate running as a Republican, Trump, is he a risk, of course, but they all are. Potentially he is the pivotal figure, in a change of direction this country needs. Yes the deck is stacked against him and us, for even many of those here seem not to see the opportunity.
If Hillary is elected, more than likely for 8 years, voting really won’t matter for R’s, demographics will have swept us away.
And, you’re exhibit B.
Why are you reasoning to absurdity?
How ridiculous is it to throw out “never” so you can discredit an honest opinion.
I do not want a President who believes that his job is to take from the wealthy and redistribute to the faithful whether he/she or it is a Communist, a Socialist or a 7th Dominionist.
I am happy for our Presidents to be Godly, moral human beings, to have whatever faith floats their boat as long as the practice of their faith does not interfere with the rights of others or subvert the rights and freedoms of other Americans.
I am voting to elect a secular leader for Americans of all races, colors and creeds who will lead according to our Constitution, our laws and the Judeo-Christian morality code that America was built on. If the potential candidates views conflict with the ability to treat all American equally, if there is a bias toward the faithful, that person is not a fit candidate.
Look at foxnews’s website today. It shows that trump & the clintons are VERY good friends. And he has also stated on numerous times that he has more in common with liberal democrats then conservatives.
So why keep feeding the problem? Both parties have worked together to keep a death grip around the throats of the voting public, in order to keep their hold on wealth & power.
Geez, I didn't know that Cruz supported Hillary for president! Thanks for the heads-up!
