Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.
Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.
On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.
But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s decision.
Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.
Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.
They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.
This email was sent out Monday afternoon.
St. Louis, Missouri:
“At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.
“The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.
“This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.”

How can I have “my” facts mixed up when all I have presented are the words from the two different articles posted on FreeRepublic?
For a couple of hundred posts we have this back and forth nonsense and no one is comparing the accounts of the two different incidents from the actual articles?
Go back to yesterday mornings account and then compare the names of who Phyllis installed to those she says are engaging in insurrection today.
She is a national treasure, but she is 91. I had to deal with a very headstrong family member of that age and I will tell you that reality is not always the word of the day.
Yep Cruz will win in November too!
These accusations have been coming Cruz’s way since Iowa. He started the dirty trix right out of the gate.

That is Phyllis's version. Obviously the people who met take the opposite position. We don't know enough, yet, to know which of them is correct "under the bylaws."
But one can reach an opinion as to the players, without knowing that. There are enough reports out there to get a handle on the sequence of events. There is bad blood between Phyllis and what is referred to as the gang of 6. One of those two factions will win. The winner always claims to have truth and justice on their side. The victors write history.

The forum is divided. It is possible to be, at the same time, in agreement and in disagreement with Eagle Forum. The Eagle Forum, or a majority of its leadership, endorsed Ted Cruz for president. Trump is at variance with "Ted Cruz for president."
Trump whiners. Did you think politics was not a contact sport? Or how about this: Don’t you hate Steal-backers? Phyllis went to all the effort to loot the Eagle Forum treasury to back Trump and now the Steal-backers are stealing back their money. It’s so unfair...Waaaaah!

Both Rafael Cruz’s are religious fanatics, members of one of the flakiest cults in America. If either of the Rafael Cruz’s gave a big tent revival and told their cult followers to drink some strychnine-laced kool-aid, 90% of them would gladly do it. Both are also chronic drunks and their big red bulbous noses, full of broken blood vessels, attest to that fact. Lying Rafael’s constant lying, while looking straight in the camera and repeating the same lie over and over is classic behavior of many life-long alcoholics. Case in point was yesterday after he said he “won the vote” in Colorado he went on to say Colorado was the 11th straight contest he had won!! Fact: In the last 11 primaries or caucuses Donald Trump has won 8 and lying Rafael Cruz 3, and that’s giving him the rigged delegates in Colorado, where no one voted at all.
Death threats? Havent seen that.
But if so, then throw down. Make the appointment and get it over with.

We used to get Laura on our local affiliate, but not anymore. I really liked her; she’s tough! I’m going to begin listening to her on “tunein.”
I’m beyond disappointed in Rush. He must really think we’re idiots to buy his bias against Trump, and fawning praise for Mr. Haney. Yesterdays show was an abject disgrace! He basically admitted Cruz was the insider and Trump was the outsider because Cruz knew how the game was played. He then proceeded to praise Cruz for knowing the “game” while criticizing Trump for not knowing. I thought Rush was supposed to be against the establishment?
That's your problem to figure out. All I know is that what you assert is "First article:" is instead a summary of action taken by the board (it's not first action, not by a long shot), and that Phyllis didn't recently install her daughter on the board, Phyllis recently accused her daughter of being part of a conspiracy to take over Eagle Forum.
Your post mixes up facts, and as I said, either that is deliberate on your part, or an accident.
