YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS! CRUZ SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT COUP AT EAGLE FORUM!
Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.
Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.
On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.
But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum or her family agreed with Phyllis Schlaflys decision.
Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.
Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.
They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.
This email was sent out Monday afternoon.
St. Louis, Missouri:
At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.
The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.
This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.
This is a developing story-
The only thing Ted Cruz desrrves, is to be spit in the face.
What a disgusting Falangismo. Cruz’s undemocratic, unprincipled “principles” are foreign to the America spirit and a Falangist attempt to crush the anti-establishment majority.
He needs to take his foreign ideology of delegate ruled society back to whatever un-American island he and his band of bed bugs came from, his Cruzocialist Oligsrchy, his Party Delegate Syndicalism of transferring the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution and voting away from the people and solely into the hands of Party elite delegates.
This Party Syndicate Rule is part of daddy Cruz’s agenda for the “Great Tranfer of Wealth” and power into the hands of a small elite of Party “priests” who rule not by votes of approval but by designated delegates serving only the Cruzocialist Syndicate.
Get out of my country, Cruz, you freak. You should be deported along with your foreign ideology.
You do realize what you just said flies in the face of the trumpettes MO. Make a mountain out of a mole hill, get worked up, make a lotta noise then move on to the next thing before the truth catches up with them.
It’s a tough road when you try to inject a little common sense, especially when you consider half the audience.
That would work if Trump were just like Sanders but that is not even close to reality. Those saying Trump is a lib have no real basis for saying so. Trumps positions are as conservative as any in the race. Yes he has supported democrats and democrat positions in the past but then so did Ronald Reagan, people change. Now if you want to say you don't believe Trump has changed that's ok but keep in mind that is just an opinion and is NOT supported by anything other than your own personal judgement.
I believe in free will and not despotic cults. If that is ignorant in your eyes, I could care less.
There is a vicious cycle ongoing - as site becomes more shrill, more Cruzers diminish or stop posting, more Cruzers leave the site completely. And when that happens, when Trumpsters have less and less opposition, they can convince themselves they must be all right, Cruzers all wrong, and they get even more shrill (mostly with themselves).
Lather, Reince (no pun intended), Repeat.
Paul Ryan thanks you for helping to elect Hillary to continue the Globalist NAU plan, but then you would have voted for Jeb if your party bosses told you too.
It’s disappointing to see you so disingenuous and confrontational
Many of us here were earnestly praying with you during the crisis in your family.
Sad indeed
You’ll lose.
Mind explaining to me just how Phyllis Schlafly did anything illegal? Not agreeing with her choice for President is now unlawful? You Cruz people are going off the deep end with this one.
“At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but...”
I really hate getting one side of the story, especially something as obviously emotional as this. Based on the article along with its link to another about ousting a board member, this story has more holes than swiss cheese.
1) If the “rogue” members were legitimately ousted based on the corporate by laws, they would not be able to hold a meeting in the name of that organization. If they decided to meet personally, that’s their business, though I know this is not really a free country anymore. Sounds to me like they were not actually kicked off any board. Either way, this would not be an “illegal” meeting.
2) If not a valid corporate meeting, what was Phyllis doing on the call? She was not “blocked” as first indicated, but put on mute at one point, so a) she knew the time and dial-in b) was a participant. Maybe they muted her because she got hysterical, or wouldn’t let others speak. Phones for conference calls are half-duplex when using speaker phones, meaning when one is speaking, no one else can be heard on the line. Maybe she exceeded her time. Who knows, without the other half of the story here.
3) By definition, if the organization has accounts, board members have authority to access them, based on by laws. So any political moves to get on the board obviously mean they are attempting to “take over”. Framing these politics so hysterically reduces the credibility of the complainer on my mind.
Not at all...it's an honest reaction to someone acting like a condescending @ss. And Phyllis Schlafly doesn't need anyone's permission to endorse anyone.
Another glaring example of Cruz-Gestapo tactics. How many more examples does it take to prove what a Lyin, Cheatin, Sleaze bag somebody really is? You Cruzers should just go away and join the Huffpo site. They are much more politically aligned to your deranged mentality!

Do you lack the ability to recognize the difference family events and politics?

She doe’s if it’s done in the name of the Eagle Forum!
Under the nonprofit corporations act board meetings must be convened by the president and presided over by the president. Written notice of the time and place of the meeting must be sent to all board members and must state the issues to be discussed at the meeting. The notice must be sufficiently in advance. There are very clear rules for removing board members. There are provisions whereby board members can demand a board meeting and if the president fails to notice and hold the meeting they can then get a court order ordering the president to call the meeting.
But some board members cannot just privately get together and seize an organization.
He's a solid, Presbyterian, Calvinist. Since you've obviously never read Calvin or Presbyterian theologians, play with yourself for 200 more posts that prove your ignorance to anyone with a decent education.
Most likely some unhappy donors made some calls to members of the board.

It's just the GOP being the GOP.
Both wings of the Uni-Party suck the big one and care not what is best for the nation or its citizens.
The Founding Fathers foresaw the dangers enherint in political parties and purposefully excluded any mention of them in the Constitution.
Let the bellowing and caterwauling of the apparatchiks begin.....
Well they were NOT acting according to their by laws, so there.
