Speaker Ryan is heading over to the RNC HQ’s (now) to convey emphatically via a press conference, that he is not interested in being nominated for the position of President in a contested convention, laying the issue to rest, at least for this election cycle.
My first thought in hearing about this talk, was that the first We Will Walk postcard tsunami had crashed ashore- bringing heavy damages to the nearby shores of DC, prompting Ryan to give a somber field report to his chain of command.
The GOPe is playing with fire here - screw Trump and lose the senate and house. That is what is getting their attention - remember, they're incumbents first - the party doesn't matter.

I listened to that lying POS the other night after the Chicago Trump rally, and instead of closing ranks, and in an impartial way he doubled down on the contention that Trump was at fault.
In my mind, this guy is dirt. If Trump negotiates with him for any reason, he’s playing with a snake.
I think I'll go Conservative party in NYS as it will be easier to overthrow the handful of corrupt leaders currently heading the party.
