Donald Trump once claimed he was the "most popular person" in upstate New York. After witnessing the impassioned supporters at a rally in Rochester, N.Y. over the weekend, he may have a point. Over 2,000 people turned up to his speech Sunday, even though temperatures were frigid. If you scroll through the events pictures, youll also find an ardent fan dressed as a Trump Wall.
Trump used some of his time at the podium to criticize the election primary process that has so far denied him the delegates needed to secure the Republican nomination. Its crooked shenanigans, he insisted.
His supporters agreed. A few sounded off on what they view as the Republican Partys bias against Trump.
"The sad thing is the guy's got to go against the Democratic establishment, and now he's got to go against his own party's establishment as well, and it's just not right," said Nasca, 48, who owns an investment company,
"It's absolutely ridiculous. But he's a threat to the big people in politics, the lobbyists, the elitists in the Republican Party," he added. "They're going to disenfranchise their own voters."
Cheryl Griggs, a 59-year-old voter from Hilton, New York, said shes never seen anything like it.
"To go against the votes of the people and the will of the people and put somebody else in there, I think, is horrific."
Indeed, if the Republican primary results in a contested convention and party officials reject the frontrunner, Trump voters will be justifiably unhappy. They will have watched their candidate remain at the top of the polls for months, only to be denied the nomination at the finish line.
Trump isnt the only one touring upstate New York ahead of next Tuesdays primary. Former New York Sen. Hillary Clinton spent some time in Buffalo on Friday to try and remind voters how she helped grow the region. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders is speaking at a sold out event at the University at Buffalo on Monday, again proving that he is the Millennial candidate.
Both the Republican and Democratic campaigns are inundating the Empire State because they know how important the delegate-rich primary is in the race to their dueling conventions. Bill Clinton even noted New York could matter most in the race.
New York votes next Tuesday, April 19.
In just about 10 minutes, Rush Limbaugh will be all over this! Just kidding...he wont touch this with a ten-foot pole.
This is happening all over our countrygreat people being disenfranchised by
politicians. Repub party is in trouble! https://t.co/wNXRqVl9Uu— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2016
It will certainly be an interesting primary contest election night in New York. One wonders just how Mr. Cruz is working behind the scenes to subvert the results of that election behind closed party doors......
The American voters will choose our next POTUS! NOT THE MEDIA!!Posted by Donald J. Trump on Monday, April 11, 2016
Adam Forbes When early Americans were politically disenfranchised by Great Britain, they took up arms and overthrew their government for misrepresentation. The political system is trying it's best to disenfranchise the will of The People again. Who would have thought the Republican party that portrays conservative values and constitutional steadfastness would work so hard to disrupt Our collective say. GOP, YOU are put on notice that We The People are the foundation and steering force of this country and will not tolerate misrepresentation. #donttreadonme Like · Reply · 283 · 24 minsTrump is blowing this up. And I love it. This is why he is so popular with we-the-people - actual voters. It's why he got more people at his rally last night than had a vote in the delegate assignment operation in Colorado.
Trump has said that his twitter and facebook accounts are like owning a major newspaper with out the losses.
His reach is probably 10+million within minutes of a post or tweet.
Limbaugh will do everything and anything to protect his income stream.
2000 is a little off;
Trump rally in Rochester draws thousands, sources say over 23,000 people

Think about it, that is way more people at one rally than had a vote about delegates in the entire state of Colorado!!
Trump’s got more listeners than Limbaugh.
I’ll be listening. Augusta National, feminists...which will it be? How about Mark Levun selling 400k books?
Thanks for the information! I agree 100%, Trump is getting the word out and blowing this thing up!
2,000?????
more like 20,000
There was 2,000 standing outside who could not get in.
I know, I know — many of YOU already know this! Some of you could have MADE this video. But if you are old enough to recall that, for example, that bottle of Coke you could buy for a nickle in 1946 and are a bit unclear why it now costs 10X that or more today, this video will answer that question.
How is it that this LOOTING of America and the rest of the developed world has gone on for over a century?
Well, in addition to wishing to NOT be MURDERED like Rep. Louis McFadden, others and, more recently, JFK (who was making noises about issuing US Notes, bypassing the Fed), the conscious IGNORANCE of or COMPLICITY with the scan by the majority of the current politicians prevents anything from being done to restore an honest monetary system!
Unless he’s lying through his teeth — and I don’t believe he is — when he says “These are BAD PEOPLE”, Donald Trump is not only on to them, but has been declaring that he’ll do something about their crimes! That’s why the oligarchs are scared “obamaless” (I’m sure you will figure out what I meant to write there) that he might actually make it to the White House! If you fully understand sordid history of our “masters”, you KNOW they will do whatever it takes to prevent that!
One final comment before I shut up: What do the now intensifying efforts by Romney, Cruz, Kasich, Preibus and many, many others in the GOPe (not to mention the Dems) tell you about where THEY are with respect to the continuation of this century long economic RAPE of America and her citizens from which THEY undoubtedly benefit?
Just askin’ a question you might wish to put to YOUR representative at the upcoming Town Hall Meetings.

And I know for a FACT that there was AT LEAST 20,000 people because I WAS ONE OF THEM

Indeed!
Rush will spin this, or just simply ignore it. As of late, whenever El Rushbo wants to ignore something negative about Cruz, he’ll spend most of the show talking about “other things” like the Apple iPhone security issue, or football.
I hope Rush didn’t forget his tap dancing shoes...he’s going to need them!
Ill be listening. Augusta National, feminists...which will it be? How about Mark Levun selling 400k books?

LOL! Yep!
The Cruzer team may have pulled off a delegate grabbing ‘coup’ in Colorado but what will it cost them in the long term? If Trump locomotives the path to 1237 and beyond with yuuuuge wins in the upcoming states it would be a major backfire you Colorado ‘insiders’. But we shall see....
Apparently, he’s realized what’s up with the rancor....he started out urging “CAUTION” for the Cruz camp. IOW, the Cruz camp cannot expect the general dissatisfaction Americans have with government and the level of insider, under-the-table shenanigans going on. It does not do Mr. Cruz well to be an eventual knowing insider in this overall distrust. IMO, if he is the nominee, he will lose because he will have been deserted by the very same people he ‘won’ the nomination game over.
Interesting fact: Trump’s % of delegates exceeds the % of votes that he has received.
How can this be?
