I haven’t broken my 3 week plus “no listening” to national talk radio promise, but I could not help but want to read the thread to “see” what Rush had to say about Colorado. Sadly, I expected just what other thread members posted. How smart Team Cruz is; ground game blah, blah; that’s how they USED to pick a candidate....yada yada yada.
Predictable. 1.1 million disenfranchised voters...(didn’t we celebrate the purple fingers of voters in the ME?) and its “brilliant political planning.”
Since I feel I predicted The Mayor of Realvilles reaction, let me put this “out there” Ted has been promised Scalias SC seat for being a good GOPe soldier. Jeb or Ryan will “save the GOPe day” and blah blah blah...
Ru$h has gotten as bad as Levin, but instead of being aggressive like Levin, I think he is more of a passive aggressive type...
Today, he took time to:
1. State how much more money he raised and in such a short time. I think he did it deliberately to imply his listener-ship is stronger than ever—which I don’t believe. Frankly, I read that the talker’s rating is based on estimates...they have no actual gauge for listener ship. I just know I won’t buy any of his sponsors’ products nor will I re-subscribe to 24/7. I listen less and less—don’t care if I miss it all together.
2. Dedicated the second hour to those who don’t listen—a finger in the eye to anyone who disagrees with him.

I wasn’t talking about Rush, I was referring to all these political pundit types who travel from show to show selling themselves as “experts”, often at the behest of some politician or group. They pimp themselves for a cause that survives on either tax money or donations to tax exempt foundations. The political elite “game” is massive in size and scope. It’s no wonder that the Trump revolution scares the crap out of them.

It was truly amazing today that Rush admits a) the GOP tricksies were designed against outsider candidates (meaning Cruz is an insider); b) that if Trump doesn’t win, there will never be another chance at an outsider; but c) St. Ted is blameless because he’s just “playing by the rules.”
Yeah but what about honor and integrity, and just cause the rules allow me to cheat doesn’t mean I cheat.
Rush rails about golf and how you self-police. Remember the tournament when Bobby Jones touched a ball and NO ONE saw it, but he did and he counted a stroke against himself? Can’t expect the same from St. Ted.
