Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump may hold a commanding lead over his GOP rivals in the New York primary, but there are at least two state residents who won't be voting for him: His son and daughter.
It was revealed Monday morning on Fox News that both Eric and Ivanka Trump failed to register in time to vote for their dad in the Empire State's April 19 primary.
"Ivanka and Eric Trump unable to register because of the rules," the real estate mogul was told on "Fox & Friends." "Are the rules in New York unfair as well?"
"No. They had a longtime register and they were unaware of the rules, and they didn't register in time," Trump responded. "So they feel very, very guilty."
"I think they have to register a year in advance, and they didn't," he added, "so Eric and Ivanka, I guess, won't be voting."

Found out I was too late to register as a Republican for the Primary.
So that's how I learned about primaries.
I'm sure the kids feel bad. But the loyalty is there and they're making it up 1000 times over.

Me......I do not want Ted Cruz to get one vote in the state of NEW YORK. I cannot believe any sane New York voter would cast a vote for this “slime” of a human being, Ted Cruz!!! This Ted Cruz, guy, folks is a sleazy human being from head to toe!!! Not one ounce of humility, charisma, charm or warmth!!! A total “ZERO” & “Hater”!!! It’s a ridiculous rule considering that a new registration is effective in less than 30 days before the primary.
Cruzers would be well advised to focus on their own campaign now. TPA Teddy is about to get hammered in 6 states. Nothing says winner in the general like 3rd place finishes in both NY & battleground state PA. LOL.

They are registered independents so the can’t vote in the primary. They can vote in the general election.

Well what I really believe is that Trump is more than likely going to be the GOP nominee and all these hail Mary tactics by Cruz are just that. Desperation antics. He has no chance to win and that is going to become evident April 26th when he hits the mathematical wall.

BTW, this speaks to lack of awareness the Trump campaign has about rules. They simply don't care about them.

If they voted in the NY GOP primary, everyone would assume that they voted for The Donald, compounding their humiliation by directly associating themselves with The Donald's whining and low rent campaign.
They decided to do the easy thing and NOT register as Republicans. That way they could not vote for him and he could have an opportunity to rant and rave that some long dead legislature had conspired against him and The Wall by passing a law (maybe in 1920 or earlier) requiring GOP primary voters to be registered in the GOP.
Most of the “mistresses” alleged will be described as unidentified space aliens who are the advance guard of a Klingon or Romulan takeover of the USA. The National Enquire will print so it must be so.
