I hate to rain on your parade, but Cruz read the rulebook, and played by the rules, no matter how byzantine. . .

All the dominoes are lining-up for the doomsday scenario.

- Bernie manages to take out Hillary (possibly with help from the FBI)
- The GOPe stupidly p*sses-off Trump and he goes third-party.
- The GOP puts itself out of business by finishing a distant third to the country’s first openly Socialist President.

Cruz’s people clearly pulled a fast one in Colorado. Looks as if they have been studying “The Art of the Deal.”

It's the REPUBLICAN NOMINATION. It's being conducted by the republican party as the party sees fit. Nobody made Trumpy run as a republican. King Trumpy should have ran as an independent to begin with if he wasn't interested in doing what was necessary to get the REPUBLICAN nomination.

If King Trumpy were to do something wise... like enroll at an accredited community college and take Political Science 101.... he might learn that it is REALLY difficult to p#$$ off EVERYONE in the party, and then get them to vote for you and to nominate you to be their candidate.

And Directed by the globalist CHEATER who
had his hookers dress up as “rats and judges”.

What sickness lies at the heart of the GOP.

Here is a starter:

The GOP

1) imposed IRS abuse;
2) imposed RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE;
3) imposed ObamaTRADE;
4) armed al Qaeda;
5) imported diseases and terrorists;
6) kept themselves, their families and staff EXEMPT;
7) covered the whole thing up.

Colorado GOPe:
“Voters? We don’t need no stinking voters.”

Since this worked so well, I fully expect to see more and more of these caucuses or meetings or conventions or whatever they call this new method of picking their candidates. I heard it was a little contentious down in Colorado Springs, but at least they did not have to put up with the rabble.
At the Broadmoor? Fitting.

I dispise the lying cheating dirty anti-American globalist GOPer, Ted Cruz. He represents everything I hate about politics and politicians.

Cruz-Supporting Delegates Picked in Virginia District Trump Won

It is wrong to assign to Trump a delegate that is loyal to a candidate other then Trump over the objections of Trump. That is just plan wrong.

#NeverCruz

You want a divided party? You got it. Maybe all us disenfranchised Trump voters vote a straight D ticket. Payback is a b.

** Not having a Primary & No Caucus **

That was the decision of the Colorado GOP made a long time ago, before all the candidates were even known.

If you don’t like it, change the rules for next time but don’t complain if you didn’t plan ahead to play the game.

Have you guys wondered how Trump ended up with 47 percent of the delegates, yet, prior to Wisconsin, had won only around 37 percent of the vote?

The rules.

I didn't hear the other candidates whining when the rules worked in Donald's favor.

This is going to backfire BIG TIME! Cruz’s best ability is to motivate people to vote against him and actually consider voting for ANYONE other than him.

Ping......

I’m afraid the fix is in. Priebus caught saying to use the Diebolt machines to keep Trump under 50% in NY! Colorado is stolen from the people without any form of voting!

I have never thought I’d live to see the “leader of the free world” not free and not a leader! For years, I started by saying that we’re heading to be a banana republic and I downgraded that to “a tenth world country”. Now, we’re enslaved in the uniparty ranch, aka, the USSA.

Here we are. Instead of a garden variety dictatorship’s “election results” of 99.999%, it’s 100% in a state WITHOUT any public election! Soon, if the number required to win is 200%, they can get it by “changing the rules” and double the number of slaves...er...delegates!

In a dictatorship, there is public voting. The proverbial 99.9999% result is a forgone conclusion. Colorado beat that hands down.

Representative Republic? Constitutional Republic? Huh? Think again.

We the People....ARE SITTING ON OUR ASSES. The sooner we realize that, the better off we are. The very narrow window is closing fast. Actually, it’s a matter of months before we find ourselves officially in the modern dark ages of communism.

Trump is my #1 choice, Cruz is my next favorite.

That being said, I have no problem with any candidate exploiting any advantage the rules allow.

In this competition, each candidate has the ability to compete according to the rules to the best of their ability. Cruz is exploiting Trump’s political ignorance. Trump appears to be adapting. Hiring Paul Manafort was a good move and will eventually pay dividends. Manafort opening up a Trump DC office to start building bridges to the GOPe may be distasteful to the true believers, but it is rational realpolitik.

So what can Trump do in this situation? A few things, I think:

1. Win enough 1st ballot delegates to get over 1,237 and make Cruz’ maneuverings moot. That’s why Trump is likely going to spend lots of time in NY this week to win and win big.
2. Use the Credentialing Committee at the convention to not seat any delegation that may have engaged in fraudulent activity (e.g. CO, UT, OK, TX, ME, IA), just like Romney did to thwart Ron Paul.
3. Cut a deal with Kasich or Rubio for the VP slot, allowing that candidate to align their delegates with Trump. If that happens, Trump’s magic number drops below 1,100.
4. If Trump gets close to 1,237, Trump exercises his full billionaire’s ability to schmooze delegates (particularly the uncommitted delegates) to vote Trump on the first ballot, getting him to 1,237.

If Trump does some or all of these things, will the Cruz diehards complain about fairness? Some will, perhaps, but what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Trump really shouldn’t complain because he needs to expect this or much worse from the Democrats in the general campaign. He needs to get used the fact that Presidential politics is bloodsport.

When it’s all over, Ted Cruz should write a book, “The Art of the Delegates” and send Donald Trump a signed copy.
