The St. Louis County Republican Caucus was held today at the Missouri River Township Caucus at the Westminster Christian Academy – near highways 40 and 270 this afternoon.
Lloyd Sloan was at the conference today.
Here is his firsthand account:
There were two slates that were voted on today at the convention. One was called “Cruz” and the other “Trump.” So there was no confusion there. The vote took place by a public count. It’s when there is a standing vote and everybody is counted off. It is pretty above board. The vote was tied, 27-27. But a few people in the center of the room did not vote. One guy got up and voted for Trump. So Trump won the standing vote.
I proposed a motion to combine the two slates. The chair chose to ignore my motion. It was seconded but the chair, Mark Dunn, decided to ignore the motion.
At that point the chair entertained a motion to do a secret ballot because he was a Cruzer and the wrong guy won. The motion was presented by the head of the Cruz delegation who put together and submitted the Cruz slate. It was seconded and voted on.
And, surprise! Cruz won the secret ballot!
At that point I led a small group of Trump people from the room, saying, “You wanted a divided party. You got one.”
The delegates plan to contest the results. We are collecting evidence to show what exactly happened.
I saw what I saw. I walked out. It was highly irregular.

That’s so Obama-esque.
I was inclined to support Cruz early last year, mostly because of his superficial attention to returning this country to its Constitutional roots. I figured that if I didn’t vote for Cruz, then I wouldn’t vote at all (or vote Libertarian). Then Trump got in the race. I watched Trump with curiosity and more than a little scepticism. Then I performed my due diligence and investigated his past history and his present positions. I am not a “Trumpbot”. He showed insight in his policies and courage in stating the obvious that all the other candidates (including Cruz) refused to recognize. I was stunned by his ability to set the agenda of the race and watched with amazement at his ability to transfix crowds of millions that turned out to support him.
Now I see that the GOPe (including Cruz) have decided that Trump must be destroyed. The very cadre of GOPe crooks and criminals that have enabled the monster Hussein to deconstruct what was left of this benighted country, unopposed, during the past eight years have laughably argued that Trump isn’t “conservative” enough to suit them, the very cadre of GOPe crooks and criminals that would have foisted Yeb! on us all, with all of the NWO baggage and illegal alien invasion that entailed. Even after Trump has shown himself to be the only candidate, yes, the only candidate (sorry Cruzers, but Cruz fits into this statement, too) that has put America first and foremost, they continue to undermine Trump in every way possible, even though he is the most popular candidate the GOP has ever had. This is just totally and completely NUTS!
I watched all of this unfold with utter disgust for the GOPe and all of its cronies (including Cruz). I now realize that the United States of America as a Constitutional Republic is already dead, having been killed when the GOPe and the people allowed the monster Hussein to be illegally and fraudulently elevated (NOT “elected”) to a tyrannical position of “president” with the aid of a supine GOPe House and Senate as this happened.
Given this, I view Trump as the last chance for what was once the USofA to rise from the ashes. If the GOPe and their henchman Cruz orchestrate the total disenfranchisement of the millions of people that voted for Trump through their criminal usurpation of what remains of the electoral process, then I will cast a write-in vote for Trump in a futile protest and watch the chaos that will surely ensue as this country will be shaken to its foundations in a way not seen since 1861.

Were they reported present during the event of reference? No.

The same people who applaud this will need some cooperation from those they are stepping on now.

Cruz and his willing accomplices in the GOPe are right in our faces cheating the front runner out of his votes. They are sowing the wind. I hate the betrayal more than I hate the demoncrats.

Ted Cruz suffered a rare convention loss Saturday after delegates backing John Kasich and Donald Trump boxed him out of key positions in the Michigan delegation.
The Texas senator's campaign ran eight delegates for eight committee spots and lost every one, alleging it was "double-crossed" by Kasich supporters.
I hate Cruz more today than I did yesterday. He is repulsive.

If voting at the ballot box doesn’t matter, then it’s time to get out the ammo box. We will not be disenfranchised.
I would want a private vote around a bunch of Trump Goons too. Should of done that in the first place.
Its not news that Ted Cruz is a dirty trix artist.
That being said he really has no choice except to try to acquire delegates at the state convention level. Cruz is almost at the end of the road with the primaries. He has only the slimmest chance to win on a second or third ballot at a brokered convention which is highly unlikely to occur. But I don’t blame him for trying. He is going to need those delegates to barter his way to a SCOTUS appointment from Trump.
