The St. Louis County Republican Caucus was held today at the Missouri River Township Caucus at the Westminster Christian Academy near highways 40 and 270 this afternoon.
Lloyd Sloan was at the conference today.
Here is his firsthand account:
There were two slates that were voted on today at the convention. One was called Cruz and the other Trump. So there was no confusion there. The vote took place by a public count. Its when there is a standing vote and everybody is counted off. It is pretty above board. The vote was tied, 27-27. But a few people in the center of the room did not vote. One guy got up and voted for Trump. So Trump won the standing vote.
I proposed a motion to combine the two slates. The chair chose to ignore my motion. It was seconded but the chair, Mark Dunn, decided to ignore the motion.
At that point the chair entertained a motion to do a secret ballot because he was a Cruzer and the wrong guy won. The motion was presented by the head of the Cruz delegation who put together and submitted the Cruz slate. It was seconded and voted on.
And, surprise! Cruz won the secret ballot!
At that point I led a small group of Trump people from the room, saying, You wanted a divided party. You got one.
The delegates plan to contest the results. We are collecting evidence to show what exactly happened.
I saw what I saw. I walked out. It was highly irregular.
Ted Cruz lost Missouri to Donald Trump.

Whomever posted that video doesnt know the difference between a badger and an adolescent raccoon?
True. Cruz is Lyin’, Cheatin’, Stealin’ Ted.
Actually I think Ron Paul played some games with the delegates like this when he ran. But I don’t think he was as successful at stealing as Cruz because the GOP is helping Cruz deny the people their vote.
According to the account, the tie was resolved before the secret ballot motion.
no sir, you are the idium (little pink panther lingo).
Sen. Goldman Cruz stealing votes
from the People. Again?
Who is surprised.
Sen. ObamaTRADE-Globalist Cruz is scum,
and should withdraw
from the race because
HE LOST FAIR AND SQUARE.
But Sen. Ashley Cruz is anoiTED, right?
So just a quick side bar on RROO.
If you had a motion on the floor and it was seconded, then no other business should have been conducted until your motion was disposed by the floor.
At any attempt at further business, a point of order should have been raised, identifying to the chair, that a motion was already on the floor. Failure of the chair to recognize a point of order is appeal-able to either the parliamentarian or directly to the floor.
It’s amazing how so may us admired him early last year and now can’t stand to hear or see him. I want him thrown out of government altogether, no more government employment of any kind for this creep, no more!
Hey BuzzBait, why can’t Ted take one for our team instead of the RNC/GOPe team?
I know why! Do you?
I proposed a motion to combine the two slates. The chair chose to ignore my motion. It was seconded but the chair, Mark Dunn, decided to ignore the motion.
Whereupon the moving party, the person that seconded the motion and close to 30 other Trump advocates sat on their hands and did nothing, except finally walk out.
It doesn't appear Cruz did a thing wrong here, but there appears to be ample room to criticize the actions of the Trump advocates.
Perhaps the nicest thing that can be said is that they are decent folks who were not aware they were involved in a non-physical street fight.
My sentiment echos yours, believe me.
He belongs down on the border helping people go back home.
Jeez. One guy, a Trump supporter, provides his eyewitness account and its considered gospel. What a bunch of hogwash. Remember the witness who swore he saw Michael Brown with his hands up. Beware is what I say.
“Cruzs supporters are like Muslims, in that they believe, lying or cheating for Teddy is acceptable, after all, Jesus wants teddy to win.”
THAT’S what you’re down to now? Nobody spins their Beloved’s words or excuses his every deed like the TaliDon.
Holding a secret ballot because you didn’t like the result of first ballot goes beyond mere politics.
Thanks for link.
I enjoyed every word of the article.
I don’t know wtf you’re talking about but I’m sure it makes sense to you.
