Following what appears to be a series of sweeps in Colorado delegates favorable to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), GOP frontrunner Donald Trumps campaign is preparing for the last four congressional district (CD) delegate votes Friday and the state GOP Convention on Saturday, where the final 13 delegates will be selected.
We are distributing Trump slates in each CD and at the state, Trumps Colorado state director and veteran political operative Patrick Davis told Breitbart News on Friday. We are talking with convention delegates face to face [and] changing minds.

It’s like watching a top-rated NFL team playing Pop Warner kids.

The thugs are lining up the bribes. If that doesn’t work they’ll move on to arm twisting and threats.

Donald Trump Campaigns Colorado Plan: Changing Minds of Convention Delegates
*************************************************
Well, that's a dumb plan.
There have been 18 delegates elected. 14 of them are bound to Cruz, and 4 of them are unbound, but have stated their support for Cruz.
The way to get delegates, is to get yours elected.

Cruz hasn’t.
Trump hired one of the biggest thugs in the business for just that purpose. Roger Stone has threatened to make public the delegates room numbers at the convention. Anything to intimidate.

The way it works in Colorado, the voters are involved in the process in only a minor way, and that was back at caucus time. Once we're at the state convention level, the voters are essentially out of the picture, we have a more-or-less random set of delegates and meta-delegates; and its down to delegates twisting one another's arms and allowing their arms to be twisted by candidates. If Cruz swept the delegates yesterday, it's because he was twisting arms yesterday. It sounds like Trump is trying to twist arms today.

These ‘’delegates’’...they get to vote twice, right? They go to the polls and vote like everybody else, and then they vote again as delegates in the way they want to vote just like they voted at the polls?
Hummmmm, something wrong with that system.

Those are slogans. You know, like “Hope”. Everyone wants those things, the question is how to get them. Trump won’t do what you want him to do to get there.

Still hawking that old line, huh? I have received similar campaign mailers in the past. Never took them seriously and threw them in the trash.
