It’s like watching a top-rated NFL team playing Pop Warner kids.

Donald Trump Campaign’s Colorado Plan: ‘Changing Minds’ of Convention Delegates
*************************************************

Well, that's a dumb plan.
There have been 18 delegates elected. 14 of them are bound to Cruz, and 4 of them are unbound, but have stated their support for Cruz.

The way to get delegates, is to get yours elected.

The way it works in Colorado, the voters are involved in the process in only a minor way, and that was back at caucus time. Once we're at the state convention level, the voters are essentially out of the picture, we have a more-or-less random set of delegates and meta-delegates; and its down to delegates twisting one another's arms and allowing their arms to be twisted by candidates. If Cruz swept the delegates yesterday, it's because he was twisting arms yesterday. It sounds like Trump is trying to twist arms today.

If you look at the delegates won so far its clear that Trump wins east of the Mississippi and Cruz wins us folks in the fly over country of the west.

Trump has a big problem in the west as he is seen as just another eastern tin horn wanting our support at election and then pretending only the right and left coasts are the only voters that matter.

Trump has definitely flown over me..

haha, that game has already been played, you are too late.
All the delegates turned off by Little, Marco, curly, dog face, low energy, lyin lyin ted.
On the 2nd ballot it’s game over, put on your big boy pants, let the blovinator whine his way back to NY City, and let’s whip the dems and make things right.
If the mouth wishes to be the immigration Czar or International Trade Czar, I’m cool with that.
If you wish to be a spoiled little child and sit out and take your ball home pouting. I say, Tell yourself thanks for Hillary, Bern or Joe.

Wait. According to many in here Trump wasn’t in Colorado because he knew it was a waste of resources. Now he’s going in. So, which is it?

Did Trump screw up by not going in earlier, or is he screwing up now by going in at all? Gotta be one or the other....

“is preparing for the last four congressional district (CD) delegate votes Friday”

Two of those four are already in the can. Cruz won all of the delegates.

If I was Trump and won the presidency I would remember Colorado’s delegate debacle for a long time. Long time.

Trump claims to be a hotshot executive who knows how to organize and hire people.

So far he hasn’t shown much ability in organizing a staff who can read the rules for all the states and win the delegates by those rules.

choosing to run a campaign off the cuff with rallies and twitter may cost him a first ballot win. It will be his fault, not because Cruz read the rules and beat him at that.
