Republican presidential candidate Texas Senator Sen. Ted Cruz told Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly that he defends GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump “a lot” on Thursday’s “O’Reilly Factor.”
After Cruz pointed to Trump’s donations to liberal politicians, O’Reilly objected that these donations weren’t made “as a politician.” O’Reilly then advised Cruz to have a press conference in Penn Station to see what has happened to it under Mayor Bill de Blasio (D).
Later on, Cruz argued there’s “liberal intolerance” in New York state, and stated that New York State Senator Rubén Díaz (D) told him that he knew exactly what Cruz’s reference to “New York values” meant, and that Díaz pointed to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) statement that “extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay” “have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”
O’Reilly responded that “Trump doesn’t subscribe to any of that.” Cruz objected that Trump does because “he funded it.” O’Reilly again said that this was done “as a businessman.” And “You can have two lives.”

Be careful where you go with your mockery little man. While before I might have thought you were a little “off”, I now have no sympathy for you. It is never scurrilous to call out two deceitful liars especially when the stakes are so high and you and partner in stealth are so scurrilous.

Lyin’ Ted is obsessed. He always calls his elder, Mr. Trump, by his first name, like a scorned woman who slept with an older man for the reflected status or money and then got shut out of his life, but still wants to demonstrate that she was once intimate with him.
The original posting had to do with O’Baxter defending Trump. I pointed out that in his conversation with Cruz, that is exactly what O’Baxter did.

The only ones crying around here are the Trump followers who constantly complain about the likes of Megyn Kelly, how the media is “going after” Trump, as if that doesn’t/won’t happen to any Republican. (Hence, the grow some skin comment.)
Cruz very succinctly pointed out what O’Baxter does (defending Trump) by getting him to do it on his show. I thought it was a minor, but valid point. It really needn’t be such a big deal, but maybe you should ask yourself why it so to you.

Thanks for the overview of the posting. Sometime I do get confused on these various threads. I guess bottom line is one of them is going to be nominated in July. We differ on which one but both of us are very aware the United States is in deep trouble. Best person wins at the end in November either trump or cruz.
No problem. We Freepers have to stick together (even if we sometimes find ourselves on different sides of the fence). As far as I’m concerned this place is one of the last best hopes of the republic, we can’t let it get destroyed (especially from within!)
My greatest fear, and what I posted about earlier this morning, is that there is so much acrimony going on that the two sides seem more and more determined to cancel each other out and let the bad guys win. Both candidates are flawed (in the eyes of the other’s followers) and the rancor is making it more and more difficult for a path to unification once the dust settles - and we must do that at all costs if we want a country.

It is our greatest test. 2012 was a littl bad but nothing like this. I think everyone here will come back together in January after the president is chosen whoever it is. You are right this site is the best on the net hands down!

We can only choose the “most” originalist candidate and place them them in office.
I know who that is.
As we have given up our freedoms in “steps” so also should we recover those freedoms in equivalent steps.
