Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be voting for a fellow New Yorker: Donald Trump.
"I support Trump. I'm gonna vote for Trump," Giuliani told The New York Post Thursday about his voting intentions in the state's April 19 Republican primary.
---------
It was reported that Giuliani was to meet with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz Thursday, but according to Giuliani, that meeting happened months ago.
Cruz's comments about "New York values" were a big factor for Giuliani.

Interesting because last night there was a whole gaggle of Cruz that were excited that Giuliani was going to meet with Ted today and obviously dump Trump. Sheesh!

Cruz was a Bush bot until he could not get from the GOPe a Senate resolution declaring him to be eligible to hold the office of president. Then Cruz struck out on his own and started buying up delegates and working with lying Ryan to pronounce him president with the sufficient needed delegates.... BIG problem for Cruz, Hillry if she is the dims nominee is NOT going to allow another ineligible junior senator to keep from her what she considered she is entitled to have. The presidency all too herself.
Cruz is an overly ambitious Freshman Senator, with an enormous ego and with messianic delusions fed to him by his father. The GOPe, as evil as they are, are head and shoulders above him in manipulation - they've got 50 years of experience at these things. His arrogance is only matched by his inside-the-beltway naivete, thinking he can take on and "manage" these GOPe "advisors".
He and Kasich will be responsible for handing the nomination to one of the GOPe's picks, who like in '08 and '12, will lose to the Democrat1. Then the GOPe - who hates Cruz, will seize the opportunity to stab him in the back, blaming him for the Republicans' loss (it's all Kabuki Theater). Win/Win for the GOPe, Lose/Lose for Cruz.
1. The GOPe - a fully-owned subsidiary of the UniParty - wants to lose anyway. This keeps the gravy train rolling for them.

It’s doubtful Cruz got even a measly 100 people in NY to hear him.
He’s used this trick before-—he co-opt an invite to a group meetig for an entirely different reason....than smirkingly announces they came to see him.
His slimy campaign is built on lies and tricks.

A Trump brand of something like that item, would need to be more like ultra magnums...

His slimy campaign is built on lies and tricks. I think he started out on good intentions, but his raw ambitions and "messiah" delusions led him down the road to perdition.

I think Cruz is well beyond ‘ambitious’ I think he really believes his time is now. He does not have the ‘bjClinton/Hillry appeal to all the ‘right’ people.

I agree .. just think, these people would be in top positions in the White House

I just did. I’m not saying I’d be any better in that situation. If I had a booger on my lip in front of 15 million people on TV, I probably would have l freaked out and did the damn same thing. Important part is, it was caught on tape and it will last forever as a weapon of the left.

He hired a campaign manager, Jeff Roe, well known for sleazy politics. His campaign was built on deceit from day one.
To: Liz
Liz, I can only shake my head sadly at what could have been.
I originally had thoughts of a Trump/Cruz ticket, with Trump serving one term, then Cruz serving two terms, thus pulling our country out of this morass. That now appears to be nothing more than a vain dream.

Rudy’s too far left for my taste, but you can’t deny that he loves America.

Congrats, you’re the first on FR to answer the question directly. I disagree with your assessment, I think it reveals the mindset of the person (you know like your checkbook and calendar reveal what’s important to you). I do appreciate your candor. FRegards...
