The downside to staging a photo op of your candidate riding on New York City’s subway system ahead of the New York state primary is that a lot of TV cameras are there if they fail to actually get on the subway.
Hillary Clinton had to swipe her Metrocard fives times in order to get past the turnstile as CNN and MSNBC cameras watched on. All told, it took Clinton about twenty seconds to figure out how to get through.

It sounds to me as though Clinton is neither a “real” nor an “actual” New Yawker.
Obviously she was distracted by the slobbering effusion of worship from her adoring sheeple . . . she cannot accept obeisance and function in the real world at the same time . . . C’MON MAN!
Maybe she couldn’t FIT through the turnstile!
I think they’re doing away with the Metrocard - it’ll be an app just like parking meters.
Important People don’t take subways.
That’s because they are dumb. When I worked in NYC for many years I always took the subway, because it’s about ten times faster than a taxi and twenty times faster than a limo (which I sometimes took when I was visiting Important People), and it’s much cheaper.
Probably doesn’t take funds from Chinese accounts.
A few years ago didn’t the media have a circus when a Republican candidate was unfamiliar with bread prices and a checkout at a supermarket?
Since Hillary admits she hasn’t driven herself in 30 years it would appear her commuting is limited to limos and private jets.
Tried it. First time using those things was difficult. It is for most.
But at least the rest of us are not claiming to be New Yorkers.
And as a fallback, the rest of us can drive a car.
She couldn’t wait to get away from the little guy with the cane.......he was talkin’ and she just kept walking away.........better get used to similar scenarios.
