It is very unlikely that Trump can get the 1237 he needs now. Possible, but very unlikely at this point.

Looks to me like he will lose to Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot at the convention.

Cruz just has a much more professional campaign team around him and he hasn’t managed to alienate everyone but his core supporters. So yeah, Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot is increasingly the most likely scenario.

Maybe Trumpkins can go back to that ARG poll they were posting over and over and imagine the actual Wisconsin primary never took place? Or perhaps they can go back to posting gutter sleaze from the National Enquirer cause that really helped their cause so much, right?

Anyone who believes the GOPe did all this work and spent a sh**load of money to take down Donald Trump just to give the nomination to Ted Cruz is kidding themselves.

Cruz won't win on those ballots.  Once the first ballot is cast, the GOPe will stuff their mystery candidate in to the works.  The fix is in.

Well, no actually. The GOPe has far more delegates lined up than either Trump or Cruz, and they’re going to Kasich. Cruz is a patsy, nothing more and this has been confirmed whenever GOPe people are asked about who they’ll support at a convention.

The only people who don’t see this are Cruz backers. He’s doing the work that Rubio couldn’t for the GOPe.

Cruz is done

WI means nothing

The GOPe did a fantastic job

But NY is different

Those tactics won’t work in NY

If Cruz did somehow take the nomination even though he was trailing in the delegates, he won’t win the national election without Trump voters which will bolt the Party.

“very unlikely for Trump to reach 1237”

TRUMP has a good chance to reach 1237, especially with NY and the N.East coming up, after Cruz had Texas and the S.East, (where he mostly got beat).

All the Cruz supporters have is “he will win on the 2nd and 3rd ballot.”

What a bunch of losers. Cruz will only get about 25% of the total delegates, and will say I can win on the 2nd or 3rd ballot.

Good luck with that dream.

The GOPe hates Cruz as much or more than they hate Trump. The best he can hope for is VP if he cooperates. And I wouldn't place any bets on that.

Trump has a much better chance of building a coalition to win even if he falls short of 1237 than anyone else. Cruz and Kasich are both delusional.

Trumps got an easy path. If he’s short a few some of the unbound delegates will put him to 1237 and it will be done on the first ballot like with others who came with a little less than 1237. That’s what Reince Priebus said tonight. Cruz can’t make it to 1237 even with 100% of the unbound delegates.

None of the polls since the phony Fox/Marquette crap had Cruz up more than 6. So it’s not like everyone should have believed the polls.

In fact, Cruz “overperformed” and they’re looking into faulty machines in four counties. No poll in the United States should have electronic voting. It’s obviously prone to fraud and errors.

I agree with your analysis.

And for those who think that Trump’s supporters will sit out the election if Cruz wins on the 2nd ballot...that goes both ways. A lot of Cruz supporters may sit out the election if Trump happens to win the nomination.

That you imagine the GOPe will give a lunatic fringe religious nut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dN1IXDrXgV0 the nomination is laughable. One look at this video by the general population and Cruz crashes and burns, and the GOPe knows it.

You are dreaming if you believe Donald Trump is going to allow himself to get taken out in a convention floor fight.

After the last primary in June he will either have 1237 or close to it. Trump will have a deal cut with somebody so he wins on the first ballot before the convention ever starts.

The arrogance of the GOP and their dismissal of the base is a powder keg.

I would not support it but would not be at all surprised if there were violence against the elites.

Don’t you find it troublesome that Cruz never denied the allegations in the National Enquirer? Sure, he said the story was false, but he never said “I’ve never been unfaithful to my wife, I’ve never had an affair, I don’t know these women, etc.” He didn’t even seem upset when addressing the charges and he chose his words carefully—not something you’d expect from someone as smart and savvy as him. I expected outrage or a statement like Bill Clinton made when he was hit with the Monica scandal, although we all knew Bill was lying through his teeth. LOL.

If Cruz becomes the nominee I have a feeling this story will come back to haunt him. And he won’t be dealing with wimpy Republicans but with Hillary and her goons in the media. And we all know how that will turn out.

And maybe, just maybe, cruzettes can explain how they believe that Teddy the TOOL will change anything, IF he succeeds?

How does it work longfellow? If you’ve been bought and paid for by the establishment, and are in bed with McConnell/Bush/Ryan/Rinse/Hatch/Club for Growth/Singer - how do you buck the system? How does that work?

Teddy the TOOL - what he won’t do to be relevant.

GOPe talking point fail, odds are he will hit it with little trouble as Cruz is not looking good going forward and many WTA’s are on the path.
