Only Trump has a realistic path to a delegate majority.

David Wasserman

"Coincidentally, after tonight both Trump and Sanders need 58 percent of remaining delegates to reach a majority (in Sanders’s case, this refers to pledged delegates only). But only Trump has a realistic path to a delegate majority, because the remaining Republican calendar is heavily winner-take-all."

Cruz has a great chance to win California

Not according to the polls.

Did anyone else see this?
I was at sometimes house and they had Megyn Kelly on tonight. The guest was talking cruz and delegates. Kelly talked about Cruz working the delegates. She seemed a little put off by it. The guest did one better describing a situation where cruz could get Rubio’s delegates and take the nominating on the first vote. Kelly’s response was, “What???” She was shocked! She’d never heard it before and seemed a little shaken. She was asking about Trump this and Trump that. I don’t think she ever considered this scenario. She tried to hide it but seemed really bothered by it. Anyone else see that?

Yeah we know a lot of Cruz supporters as well as tons of other GOPers have sworn to never support Trump and would prefer Hillary. Yet Trump is the one who is supposed to pledge undying allegiance

And for those who think that Trump’s supporters will sit out the election if Cruz wins on the 2nd ballot...that goes both ways. A lot of Cruz supporters may sit out the election if Trump happens to win the nomination.

I'd crawl over broken glass to vote for Cruz against Hillary or Sanders.

But get real. Cruz isn't going to be selected by the party hacks on the second or third ballot. They're either going to go with the guy who has the most votes - that's Trump, in case you forgot - or they're going to foist some chump on us to take a dive against Hillary and maintain business as usual.

what holds me up on the NBC thingy is that Cruz’s mom was on voter rolls in Calgary. Since she lives next to Cruz, and since she’s stumping sometimes, (or at least was last week) maybe somebody can ask her if she gained Canadian citizenship along with Dad Rafael in order to work in Canada, and is that why she is on the voter rolls??

TRUMP has a good chance to reach 1237, especially with NY and the N.East coming up,

***********************************************************

Don’t forget the humongous state of California (Delegate wise) which the last I heard was Trump country.

I don’t believe it matters to the GOPe, they’re going to do their damndest to wreck Trump’s chances even if he wins the convention on the first ballot.

There’s a lot of hard feelings among the still influential Bush family against the man who “robbed” little tippy toes Jebby of “his turn”.

You are disgusting just for saying that. You are acting like a liberal with that statement!

Cruz, a natural born US citizen, could have been a citizen of Mars and STILL would be a natural born US citizen. Unless you can show that Cruz surrendered his natural US citizenship, you have no basis for denying Cruz’s citizenship!

Cruz's mother was a Canadian citizen when Cruz was born...

That is all Trump has to do is wait it out until Cruz cannot get to 1237 according to math, and then sing the same Cruz as Ted when he said to Carson voters not to throw their vote away.

He will also look foolish when he does not drop out after telling kasich to drop out because he has no mathematical chance.

That you imagine the GOPe will give a lunatic fringe religious nut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dN1IXDrXgV0 the nomination is laughable. One look at this video by the general population and Cruz crashes and burns, and the GOPe knows it.

“Cruz’s mother was a Canadian citizen when Cruz was born...”

Do you have a source for that? Cruz’s mom moved to Canada in 1967, Ted was born in 1970. At the time, Canada required living in the country for five years before one could apply for Canadian citizenship.

You are dreaming if you believe Donald Trump is going to allow himself to get taken out in a convention floor fight.

After the last primary in June he will either have 1237 or close to it. Trump will have a deal cut with somebody so he wins on the first ballot before the convention ever starts.

“Cruz’s mom moved to Canada in 1967, Ted was born in 1970. At the time, Canada required living in the country for five years before one could apply for Canadian citizenship.”

Trumpsters live in denial, lies, and their own make believe world. The facts won’t have any effect.

Cruz won the Wisconsin counties that are the most liberal.

I expected this to be what Trump won. Strange.

Madison and Milwaukee went Cruz?

Operation chaos. Libs and GOPe voters use beta-male teddy to stop Trump.

Cruz is pretty much guaranteed to be mathematically eliminated on April 26.
