I agree with your analysis.

And for those who think that Trump’s supporters will sit out the election if Cruz wins on the 2nd ballot...that goes both ways. A lot of Cruz supporters may sit out the election if Trump happens to win the nomination.

Yeah we know a lot of Cruz supporters as well as tons of other GOPers have sworn to never support Trump and would prefer Hillary. Yet Trump is the one who is supposed to pledge undying allegiance

I'd crawl over broken glass to vote for Cruz against Hillary or Sanders.

But get real. Cruz isn't going to be selected by the party hacks on the second or third ballot. They're either going to go with the guy who has the most votes - that's Trump, in case you forgot - or they're going to foist some chump on us to take a dive against Hillary and maintain business as usual.

So be it

Trump doesn’t need sore losers, when Trump wins with 1237+ (first ballot) and some Cruz supporters want to sit around a cry about, oh well. The Trump Train will pass you sour pusses by.

Now if Cruz wins with 1237+ (first ballot), I will support him. If he steals it, contested convention, good luck, I am done with the party

Many feel the way I do

IF Cruz is only in it to play spoiler, he is in for a very rude awakening
