Two Florida hunters tracked down a monstrous alligator and the photos are breathtaking.
The gator was shot at Outwest Farms, an alligator hunting company in Okeechobee, measuring just under 15 feet and weighing in at over 800 pounds.
The farm's owners discovered the gator in a cattle pond during a guided hunt. They believe the gator had been helping itself to some of their cows.
The gator was so big that a farm tractor was needed to pull it from the pond.

We have alligators in our bass pond, I hope none of them are that big.

Does it have a clock in it’s tummy? And has it been following a man with a hook for a hand?
Gator claimed it “ tasted like chicken”
You can’t eat dog meat every day.
Only one way to find out ..
I wonder how many pythons he swallowed?
And gator meat
Yum! Tastes better than chicken.

Any and every food tastes better than chicken. I haven’t eaten any of the foul fowl since 1955.
It’s mating season, so gators are on the move and this place is close to both the Kissimmee River and Lake Okeechobee. Sounds like the gator was feeding himself on livestock.
A JD 7230 is a ginoroumous tractor - 230hp minimum......24k lbs.!
Makes my 5045E look tiny!

Singing “See you later alligator”. By, by, so long, Gucci bags.
You can say that again.
If ya think this gator was big ya ought to see the size of some of our wild hogs here in the Okeechobee area.
Sweet! In the late ‘60’s I had a friend whose dad was a Minneapolis Moline dealer in Colorado & I drove the biggest tractor they made then - had to go up ladders to get in cab as it was 2 stories tall - you could see almost 100 miles from the cab the land about 50 miles east of Denver was so flat.
3 times is not enough.
great pix!!!!
Here's some pics from the family farm. Minneapolis -Moline and Ford/Ferguson were what was needed.
