Trump plans to choose experienced politician for VP
The Hill ^ | April 2, 2016 | Evelyn Rupert

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he is "95 percent" sure he would pick a veteran politician for vice president if elected.

He said he would choose “somebody that can walk into the Senate and who’s been friendly with these guys for 25 years, and people for 25 years and can get things done" in an extensive interview with The Washington Post published Saturday.

“So I would 95 percent see myself picking a political person, as opposed to somebody from the outside," he said.

Well those are Trump’s words and expectations of experience not mine. I’m just saying that even if his VP is going to do the heavy lifting with Congress there is going to have to be a meeting of the minds somewhere along the way.

The politicians mindset was nothing but decline and deceit. 100% failed job performance in every direction. They’ll do what the boss tells them to do. One does not negotiate with inept and the corrupt.

Rintz came out with his statement that the delegates would pick the VP, too, not just the President.

Psssssssstttttt!

They always do. The candidate nominates his VP selection, the delegates then must ratify the pick with a majority vote.

Jeff Sessions is my favorite as well. But age works against him.

My money is on a dark horse no one has considered but he would make a fine VP and a fine President if necessary: former Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina.

A most reasonable choice, sir.

So, many Trump supporters support him because he has been so successful in campaigning against The System, and now their hero is going chose for his VP somebody who has been successfully working in and with The system for 25 years?

Bwahahahaha. Those guys have been had.

But not a single one of them will admit it. They all will defend Trump for this new idea.

Sessions was born the same year as Trump: June 14, 1946 (Trump born on flag day) vs. December 24, 1946 (Sessions born on Christmas Eve).

IMO if Trump doesn’t get 1237 then he is out. Keep in mind there is no guarantee that Cruz will get the nod either. The RNC knows that a Trump nomination is a disaster. The big question remains what he will decide to do. Everybody loses if he bolts the party. The road is rough and the destination might suck.
