Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Trump’s one-time rival in the presidential campaign, discussed the topic on the radio Thursday with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade — and offered a ringing defense for the campaign manager.
Kilmeade began the segment by stating that Lewandowski had been arrested, when he was abruptly cut off by Huckabee proclaiming, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, he was not arrested.”
“That has been said, he was not arrested,” Huckabee continued. “He was charged and he walked himself in. There was no ‘arrest,’ no perp walk, no handcuffs, no mugshot.”

I’ve watched all the videos making the public circuit and just don’t see Cory touching her. Where it looked like he might have had the opportunity to touch her or grab her as is said, it would have been the upper arm.
It’s a whole big nothing. From what I caught from Megyn Kelly in the first few minutes of show when she was making excuses for what’s her name not showing up ...
Megyn sure used a lot of weasel words. Made sure she used the most negative of comparisons and explanations she could and even say’s you can see Cory grab her.
I have yet to see a convincing photo of Cory grabbing her. I do see a photo of a SS agent looking like he’s about to grab her.

Fields used a lot of loaded language on Kelly’s program: “Nobody wants to be touched and violated like that”.
I see the middle school mean girls club has reassembled to denigrate Michelle Fields further. Just as most middle class individuals do when they learn they have been charged with a crime, Lewandowski voluntarily presented himself to the police for processing.
However, despite what the Huckster says, Lewandowski took part in the standard booking process so he DID have his fingerprints taken, “mug shot” taken and all the rest of the standard booking process action.
By the way, those who have actually followed this know that Fields did NOT file her police report until the Trump campaign & its allies undertook a campaig to DESTROY HER, BOTH PROFESSIONALLY & PERSONALLY. Fields’ description of what happened has NOT CHANGED. The Trump campaign’s descriptions, on the other hand, have continually changed. The physical evidence (e.g., security cameras video recordings) has supported Fields’ description.
It’s somewhat disheartening to see so many FReepers eagerly & gleefully participate in the efforts to destroy this promising young CONSERVATIVE journalist.

There is something about the shape of that bruise that doesn’t look right. It looks too long and narrow to have been caused by a hand grabbing her arm.

You cannot be serious. None of what she says can be proven. Dozens of attorneys have said there is no case here. She has a pathology of doing this kind of thing. Nice try but this little girl will be crushed.

If he wasn’t booked then he was never charged. They just had him come in for questioning.
The way the process usually works is someone files a complaint. The agency writes up the report. If there’s enough evidence, an indictment is written up. The person either walks in or is brought in for booking on that indictment.

Bingo! I have thought that all along. About the only way she could have bruises as depicted is if her arm was flexed at the elbow, so that her hand was up like in a defensive posture, which the video does not show.
But, maybe Lewandowski is a contortionist. That would make her story plausible.
My theory on this whole kerfluffle is that since she has a book coming out next month, which hardly anyone would buy, this was a golden opportunity to get publicity.
As some Hollywood wag once said: “There is no such thing as bad publicity.”
