Lyon’ Ted - 2016 Most Unethical Candidate Award
Headline is bogus.
If delegates are rewarded proportionally, all candidates ‘won’.
It should read that Trump had more votes in that state, not that he ‘won’ a state.
It just makes no sense under the voting process we have to declare a ‘win’ unless it is a winner-take-all state.
Cruz is not “stealing delegates”. The delegates are still obligated to vote for Trump on the first ballot. Trump has just as much right to get his supporters in those slots if he can. But Trump is getting out-organized in a lot of places, because in a lot of states, Trump has basically dismantled his organization once the primary was over. He apparently didn’t realize that the delegate selection process would be critical in an open convention, or he just didn’t think it was important.

North Dakota draws Republican delegate war out of the shadows
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/north-dakota-draws-republican-delegate-war-out-the-shadows
But in a sign of the tightening race in which North Dakotas 28 delegates might just make a difference, the three Republican campaigns have scrambled to mobilize here, screening and beginning outreach to likely delegates. In less than a month, North Dakotas GOP went from struggling to find a keynote speaker for their state convention to juggling three: Sen. Ted Cruz will speak Saturday night, followed on Sunday by Dr. Ben Carson speaking for Donald Trump and former Sen. Gordon Humphrey on behalf of Gov. John Kasich.
If “stealing” then who is going to jail?
Nobody?
Then not “stealing”.
Trump is trying to run his campaign on the cheap. This is the best example of that fact. Most of Trump's funding comes in the form of loans to his campaign, not in direct spending. Why? Is he expecting to pay himself back with the donations of others? If the guy is really worth $10 billion, he'd better start parting with some if it to build the infrastructure he'll need to win in November. Relying on the GOP isn't a strategy.
People who defend this sort of underhanded tactic remind me of those who were unruffled when Huckabee accepted McCain’s supporters/voters simply to thwart Romney in West Virginia. I was furious because I wanted Romney then. McCain knew he had no chance in West Virginia, so he instructed his supporters to vote for Huckabee so as to take the state away from Romney. Michael Medved laughed it off as ‘politics as usual’. I was sick that our side could be as sleazy as the Democrats. Sadly, that still seems to be the case today.
This will be positioned as candidate versus candidate, one candidate out maneuvering the other. One candidate being shrewd and the other incompetent.
In fact it is candidate versus voter. One candidate flipping votes to serve himself, one candidate ignoring the will of the voter.
Following the rules and planning ahead is “stealing?” Yet, not being willing to change the rules (being close to 1237 is good enough!) is somehow the only legitimate process?
This is getting very confusing!
Trump running as a Third Party candidate will make it easier for democrats who hate everything republican to vote Trump and feel okay about doing so. Trump is perhaps the most viable third party candidate we’ve ever seen.
....”Townhall reporter Guy Benson admitted the Cruz campaign is stealing Trump delegates in states that Trump won”....
Well nobody is putting a gun to their heads to switch.....has nothing to do with “stealing”...it is the game plays as always... to convince delegates to change.
That's been the rule for a long time. That's not stealing. That's called organization. If Donald Trump isn't organizing delegates, then his campaign is not doing its job if there is no majority. If his organization is a failure, then he is a failure and has shown that he is incapable of winning a general election.
That's not stealing, and no temper tantrums from Trumpbots, RINOs, and lazy people who don't do campaign work outside of bitching online changes that.
It ain’t stealing if it’s by the rules. And smart folks know that most delegates are only bound for the first vote. If Trump can’t out smart Cruz there’s a lot of folks on the international stage he’d fall victim to.
Cruz is a bigger sleaze than Hillary.
Will Cruz pick Jeb! as his VP?
Lyin’, cheating and stealing is obviously second nature to Cruz..
This coming from a guy that holds a big bible over his head, and Glen Beck says is the second coming of Christ.
I’m absolutely disgusted by what Cruz has morphed in to.

Well if a reporter said it. It Must be true! /s
