Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are headed to a photo finish in Wisconsin next Tuesday according to the latest poll numbers, which show the Texas senator ahead of the New York billionaire by just a single percentage point.
Public Policy Polling, a left-leaning firm, surveyed likely voters in the Badger State and found Cruz leading the Republican primary contest with 38 per cent, compared with Trump's 37.
The dramatically different results could be explained by sample sizes: Marquette's pollsters interviewed 471 likely Republican primary voters, while Public Policy Polling surveyed 768.
They could also reflect quickly shifting political winds in Wisconsin, seasoned with a series of Trump rallies that tend to create unpredictable news cycles.

Vote Trump
“Riiiiiight. That is why trump left the state and has no plans until Saturday there.”
That’s tomorrow, right? He’s gone for one day and you want to read something into it? Ok two days? What?
Now Cruz folks, give me your path or ANY scheme Cruz gets the nomination... ANY.
It seems each campaign has “social media operatives” assigned to establishing user IDs on various sites considered strategic, and then pound the stump for a candidate. Many think it’s where a lot of the recent ugliness comes from. FReepers don’t trust someone who signs up and posts a controversial article the first day either.
McCain, Linda, Romney, Jeb and the rest of the Cruzers are deeply troubled.
Pray America wakes
Poor Ben, taking a few days off at home in Florida to get some new Jammies got all mad that Cruz, and everyone else, noted that his actions didn’t look like a candidate that was planning to hang around.
Carson, needs to man up. You can’t pick your nose, without the other candidates using against you and he served up a softball, with his mini-Florida vacation days before NH.
I think it’s all baloney and when the votes in Wisconsin are counted, Trump wins by 5-8 points or so.
We’re now at the comically absurd phase where the smart people on tv are trying to convince us that what’s happening isn’t happening.
But, who knows?
I found this video of Heidi Cruz being interviewed at Claremont McKenna college about 5 years ago. She tells about her life, her accomplishments, her connections with powerful people and you can hear her in her own words. She sounds like a global elitist to me. She says, “In Texas we are with a lot of powerful political people and people of means” and then she goes on to say how it is important for her to teach her daughter that some people have a really hard life and that we should help those people.
Republican people don’t PUT up signs for fear of being targeted for vandalizm or worst.
I like “Cruztys”
The name Amanda Carpenter??? comes up in that video.
The Cruz campaign came up we the “Carson is leaving the race” maneuver TWO WEEKS before the caucuses when their internal polling showed Cruz was the second choice of Carson supporters. Amanda Carpenter came up with the idea. Not sure who else at CNN was in on it, but their reporting was plausible cover for the Cruzadians to execute their plan.
I am sure Ted Cruz had no idea what his corrupt campaign was doing, but he keeps saying the leader is responsible for the culture of the campaign.
Yes!! Amanda Carpenter came up with the idea. CNN was paying her , but she was still working for Cruz.
“He might be a SOB, but he is my SOB!”
That’s it in a nutshell.
“all said and done we are at 1291.”
And Trump goes, king me.
While that’s true for WI only, Trump does need to win a few more than 18 to help get back on track as he is slightly below where he needs to be overall.
The Party Establishment lives in states of confusion, denial, and delusion. Unfortunately for them, those states have neither delegates nor electoral votes.
Cruz’s latest dirty trick is an attempt to boot Kasich from the Montana primary ballot. That’s lower even than Hillary Clinton (there was a paperwork snafu with getting Bernie Sanders on the Democratic DC ballot; rather than try to take advantage her campaign agreed that it ought to be fixed so they could have a fair primary election).
Well, that’s what they do all day anyway, so what’s the diff?
