The article says it’s from a townhall that has been taped and will be aired later. It wasn’t in this morning’s speech.
I read the article... it seems some elements of the interview are missing... I’m not convinced we have the whole context here.

If this came from Ted Cruz, the Cruzers on this board would have wet their pants in glee and proclaim him the conservative messiah. (as if the they already don’t)
Not a big Trump fan but the way this “news report” was written seems to be a mess of copy and paste. Why don’t they run a straight transcript of this part of the interview so we can see what he really said in context rather than what the writer wants us to hear? Sheesh, I hate the media.

Seems Trump is calling for PUNISHMENT for women who have abortions IF abortion is outlawed.
Also seems many Trumpers are upset and are in disbelief that Trump made these remarks.
It’s just a negotiating ploy to get a better deal.

So what should the punishment be for a woman who willfully kills or allows her baby to be killed?
