Trump says women may need punishment if abortion is banned http://bloom.bg/25wR9aJ

"Can't imagine?" I can't imagine you've been around long, I mean actually on the front lines of the war against abortion.
I can't think of one person currently active in the prolife movement who would agree with you.
In my own 40 years of experience, between 1/4 and 1/3 of the female activists in the pro-life movement are post-abortive women. They repent, they work through their grief, and they become activists in expiation of their sin.
A law which held these women responsible for homicide, would be (1) un-passable, (2) un-enforceable, and (3) even if enforced, would destroy the prolife movement.
Any law, to be meaningful, has to be enforceable; and no anti-abortion law will be enforced without dogged, relentless push-push-push on the local level. That "push" more often than not comes from conscience-driven people whose experience with abortion was up close and personal.
Why not?
False equivalence.
Society's sexual mores have changed since pre-Roe v. Wade; as have the relative roles of men and women, both in dating and in ability to earn an independent living. Also changing drastically are the acceptance of premarital sex as routine, use and acceptance of contraception, use of abortion as a fallback should contraception fail, no fault-divorce, child support, presumption of custody to the woman, and the enshrinement of sex without any unpleasant consequences whatsoever for the woman (up to and including retroactive revocation of consent, in college) as a fundamental, self-evident 'right'.
Not to mention the de-stigmatiztion of single motherhood and the prevalence of fornication-enabling apps such as Tinder.
Trump is attempting to enforce the all-but-extinct notion of personal responsibility and consequences for womyn: which the feminists, and beta white knights hoping to get lucky, have forced on the culture.
So Where does he stand again? :)
Hint: It is where his handlers tell him to stand at that particular moment. This is why they have to repeatedly release "Clarification of Policy" statements after the idiot is left to answer any questions with out a pre screened question list being provided to his campaign.
Before trump nobody dared to talk about mass deportations of illegal aliens,
before trump nobody dared to suggest that the problem is not “radical islam” but islam itself like trump did in the anderson cooper interview
Before trump nobody dared to suggest banning Muslim immigrants who are a threat to America
You know who i supported in 2004? Tom Tancredo so calling me a lib is beyond absurd.
If anything i think trump is too soft on muslims, i think Islam it should be illegal and mosques should be abolished because they are fifth column.
They should be treated like we treated the japanese in ww2
I love his pro America. Make America Great attitude.
I will have no problem voting for him if he is the candidate. But I still hope for Cruz as republican candidate. I am not sure who I will vote for in the April 18th primary....it will depend on how many votes are needed to prevent a brokered convention.
Lots of prescient posters on the thread, as far as the walk back.
And a few hurtin' buckaroos over the flip/clarification/walkback/...whatever we can call it.
LOL!
Next course?
Problem is, will Trump maintain this position beyond Thursday. His campaign is already backing away with a "clarification" of his remarks.
The Donald's mouth is prone to writing checks his ass won't cash...
No he didn't just as PJBankard just posted to you. You conveniently ignored what I wrote, We need that kind of unapologetic leadership of Trump to help get us past the evil culture that has taken over this country.
CGato
Let the truth be said-— we need not be afraid of the truth anymore..
As of this minute , Trump is against punishing the woman , perid.

IF this is true, then even the most hard core Trumpers will have to dump Trump.
I’m a hard core Cruzer. But I haven’t dumped Ted yet. If he had DENIED the mistress story and later we find it was true - then yeah. Bye bye TEddy.
Same applies here for Trump. If he walks back this story then he is toast.
You have a lot more people paying attention now than they did last summer.
Trump flipped so fast on this issue, we could not even get through to the end of thread.
I will Support Trump or Cruz.
I just thought Trump was unartful here. I think Trump agrees.
Again, he was talking about the size, width, route, etc. of the wall. He’s explained that many times.
Negotiable in the way how it would be build
He said the wall itself is not negotiable
He was saying how it would be built, what materials and such would be but the wall itself is not
Of course we will have to negatie with construction workers to get the best deal and most efficient wall
So youu are being dishonest
Everything by the way it is negotiable. Things are negotiable. Ill be honest with you. You know, Ill make the wall two feet shorter or something. I mean, everythings negotiable.
When asked if building the wall is negotiable, he said that wasnt.
taking him out of context
How's that work for ya?
He did.
