OPERATIVE: Yeah, two and the anchor. The anchor here is the absurdity. You know, the Enquirer story. Five women, shoving em in closets and on desks or whatever right in the middle of meetings. Thats kind of, thats, I just dont see how you hide or how people miss that kind of stuff. Thats Bill Clinton stuff, you know. Sex crazed. And Glenn Beck does this whole I got raped by Ted Cruz bit this morning and everybody on my staff got raped, tasteless stuff.
GP: Yeah, we blogged about that . . .
OPERATIVE: yeah, I know, and thats the anchor. And Beck doubled down on the anchor, said something about five women in closets and all that like I said, right? And then he sets the anchor really strong with a headline and it worked cause it was the headline you even went with. He said If this is true Ill drop Ted Cruz like a hot potato.
GP: Yeah. Uh huh.
OPERATIVE: So theres the hook, the headline, and then he sets expectations. He lowers the bar sort of so to speak. He says something like Look, if it turns out Cruz had an affair six years ago and came clean and made up with his wife or whatever, then who am I to judge. People make mistakes.
GP: Yeah. So how does that work then? Whats, how does that go with the anchor?
OPERATIVE: I think Glenn Beck just told the world the real story. There was an affair six years ago. One affair. Its over now. And the Enquirer story is so over the top that a single affair six years ago will look like, yeah, whatever. Its a perfect anchor, hook, and low ball. Perfect. Its what Jeff Roe, his campaign manager, does.

Good gawd that he ‘comes clean’ and says.......”well, at least she wasn’t aborted and Heidi and I love her....blah, blab’”
I totally get why people are supporting Trump. I kind of laughed at the ‘low-information’ thing from Cruz, but thought he was wrong. I think it’s just more high emotion. That is not my personality type, never has been. I think most of the time it just makes people make bad decisions.
Jhn 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone......
Hah, well, I wouldn’t call an affair ‘simple’. I’ve read about the other two things you mentioned. I am ignorant on most campaign law. Like I said, at the time of the Florida primary I made my decision based on who I thought was the most conservative candidate, with the most conservative track record and (again) was the lesser of the evils to choose from.
Isn't it funny how appearances, vs. fact, proof, evidence, etc., are all that counts to the Trump camp... if or when it concerns allegations against Cruz. But if it concerns Trump, they're suddenly all about said proof. Convenient double-standard they have there. And they have that in common with the radical leftists. Coincidence?
I was born out of the country to TWO U.S. citizens in the 60’s. I was considered a dual. I had to declare as an adult.
I could see women with him if he were rich or a Senator, but six years ago? Not sure.
“I totally get why people are supporting Trump”
I think the motivations are similar between Cruz and Trump supporters. I was a Cruz supporter early on but once I saw the phony façade fall away I cannot support him.
I think Trump has the best policy plans in Immigration, Terrorism, taxation, trade, regulatory, foreign relations, and health care. And, I think he would accomplish most of what his platform is. Ted doesn’t have a very good record of accomplishment in the Senate...he isn’t a deal maker.
Interesting.
Good. Read it again. Please, Google the terms Freerepublic and the title of this article. Select each one of the returned results individually, and be sure to post a breathtakingly brilliant comment regarding how you have already read the same post X amount of times. Afterwards, take a moment to kick back and feel important, knowing that you really showed those anti Cruz people with your legendary insight and whit. Yes, you have convinced us all to vote for SLICK TEDDY.
I never said it did. You initial question was "If my mom, a US citizen, was in England on vacation when I was born, would I be an English subject". The answer was yes, prior to 1983, you would be a British subject ( no such thing as an English subject ). I didn't say anything about being a natural born US citizen. As far as being a British subject, in the circumstance you presented, citizenship was bestowed automatically- there was no need to claim it.
No relevance. What love?
Weren’t the song lyrics twitters proved fake?
Do you see the irony with your post?
SLICK TEDDY is engaged in the classic dirtbag lawyer tactic of deflection.
Did I perhaps hit a nerve?
Mark my words. It will be played as ‘one affair’ and that we should ‘move on’ and that Trump is a ‘big, fat meany. This garnering the forgiveness of the public and to rally around Heidi. Glenn Beck started that this weekend.
I never finished it after I hit the only sentence that had any meaning from the "secret operative" who said "I have no direct, personal knowledge that my conclusions are true"
She knew.
Thanks for the clarification.
