Ted Cruz has been accused of having at least five mistresses, including CNN anchor and former Cruz employee Amanda Carpenter. The media claims Cruz has denied these accusations.
Cruz is lying, according to multiple trial lawyers and experts on persuasion. His lies are hard to spot, because his lies are also truthful.
Consider what Cruz said in response to the news story:
“Let me be clear this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies. It is a tabloid smear and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen.”
Let’s look at what Cruz did not say. Cruz could have said, “I have never cheated on my wife.” Why didn’t he?
Consider the oath witnesses take before testifying. “I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” Isn’t that redundant?
Ted Cruz is accused of having had an affair with five women. He could say, “That’s a lie. I did not have five mistresses.” If Cruz did have one mistress, then he’d have told the truth (he didn’t have five) but not the whole truth (he had one).

Yep. “It depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is”. I hate the we’re headed down that road again. It shouldn’t be a surprise after the rotten campaign he has run that Lyin Ted Cruz is willing to do it. There simply is nothing principled or conservative about him.

Right now there are very competent private investigators hired by a multiple people who have much to gain. There is simply too much at stake. If there is hard evidence such as photos, videos or tapes, then Cruz’s political career is over. He wrapped himself in the mantle of Christian righteousness and it may turn out that he really has no clothes. IMHO such evidence exists because women for their own protection keep such evidence and Cruz will withdraw within two weeks. Trump will win a clear majority of delegates in the remaining primaries and secure the nomination on the first ballot.The next major political question will be if Obama allows Hillary to become the nominee or has her indicted. Obama does not want his commissars in IRS and Justice prosecuted after he leaves office. If they turn states evidence and offer evidence of their own it would be very bad for Obama’s post Presidency career. He might cut a deal with Trump to indict Hillary in return for an ironclad agreement from Trump of no prosecutions.
It has been said they may not even live together (American. Spectator), so who knows how Easter was.
Keep in mind these are Trumpsters, Trump himself has said his supporters are uneducated and low information voters. They are stupid and gullible enough to believe anything.
