'We stand by the integrity of our coverage and remain committed to our aggressive reporting'
Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this weeks issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it, Trump said in a statement. Ted Cruzs problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin Ted Cruz.
The National Enquirers parent company, AMI, also released a statement

Hey spacey, I note that you commented in other post about Venomous attacks on Cruz supporters and banishment coming...Seriously? Cruz supporters give as good as they get...and Banishment? Rare.
This election is about far more than out-of-date paradigms...it is about Liberty versus Tyranny and National Sovereignty versus globalism...Trump has stood for both Liberty and National Sovereignty, so he has my vote—as well as the vote of many here. Is he perfect? No, but for the here and now (not dragging stuff up from years and years ago) he is the best suited to deal with the new paradigm. The man is self-funding...he cares about the country...Frankly if I had his wealth, with all the crap and flack he has taken from EVERYONE — GOP GOPe, media, talk shows, etc....I would probably have just bought an Island and a yacht and moved away....
As far as who belongs here, maybe you ought to do a search on Jim Robinson...He is this conservative guy who had the great idea to start an on-line meeting place for conservatives...He seems to be OK with Trump....
So with all due respect, perhaps you might be wise not to go telling Trump supporters that they are in the wrong spot.
Which makes no sense whatsoever
Neither one of them look like Amanda Carpenter.

“No, it isnt. Im tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. Trump is a foul mouthed, deal-making, big -government liberal. Why would I would I vote for him?”
“I will not vote for Trump.”
Not to make you mad, just a heads-up and imp. FYI—the owner made it, uh, very clear last night that anyone here saying that they will not vote for the Republican nominee, whomever that might be, will not be welcome here on Free Republic.
*******
Recall that quite a while back the GOP pressured Trump to sign that oath that he would support the “eventual GOP nominee, regardless of whom it might be” and he agreed and signed it, on condition that he was treated fairly.
Let’s give Hillary a beat-down and make America great again.

OK, back to the clawing and biting.
I honestly dont know.
Is there any chance that you would vote for Cruz?
I believe the only certain way you can get mama Eleanor’s Canadian citizenship status, would be to get access to the records of naturalization. Other than that, a good investigator could track down a close friend of the parents and see if they heard something that told if she did get Canadian citizenship. This is something I wished someone had done with Susan Blake, the close friend of Stanley Ann, baby Barry’s mother. But, that’s another story and, we know how hard it is to get those pesky certificates.
“What about Trumps many affairs, marriages and divorces”
What exactly does that have to do with Cruz?
Yeah, but, but... Trump did it too!!!!
I seriously doubt that.
True. We shall see.
Well Navymom, my wife is a US Army Mom which means she served in the Army. I am an Army Dad which means I served in the US Army. My brother and Father were in the Navy and my son in law a Marine so I have nothing inherently against the Navy except for the usual give and take. So, you can report me to the CO 6 times a day and 7 on Sunday. My opinion on your pal will not be changing anytime soon.
A lot of us have tried to verify this. What do you have that gives you 100% certainty it is a fake? "Enquiring" minds want to know
The people who are supporting Cruz don’t want to understand that the GOP Establishment is the enabler of eight years of Obama, and Ted Cruz played the GOPe’s Tea Party foil for two years until last March when he started running for President.
How they can vote for an insider like Cruz now, after the GOPe has ripped our guts out for the past seven years, I don’t understand.
Some folks are blinded because they truly think Ted is a good Conservative, and they can’t fathom that you are right.
Some folks can’t fathom that the GOP is truly as vile as it is.
Some folks can’t believe the RNC would work against Conservatives.
Some folks are here to disrupt and truly hope Conservatism is defeated, and will use any means possible.
I have no idea how these segments break down here, but I am sure each of these segments exist here.
“Is there any chance that you would vote for Cruz?”
I’d have to see some candor and some down to earth sobriety.
No more preaching. Not a single word.
A little humility would go a long way, and that is a universal truth.
Thank you Mel.
Thank you.
It's my impression that Cruz only preaches to audiences where it's appropriate, such as religious gatherings.
All the time I've heard Cruz talk, I have never heard him get preachy.
You lie again.
First you said I worship Trump. I do not. I never have. His flaws are quite apparent and I have never said otherwise about him. I am convinced he is the best man for the job based on those who have entered the contest. Saying that I worship Trump is, again, a lie.
Your second lie is that I am attacking Cruz for being an adulterer. I have not. Whether the story is true or not - I am inclined not to believe it as he has the personality of oiled carrion - is irrelevant. The mistress story is a distraction from those asinine, lunatic cult claims surrounding the Consistently Credulous Cultists.
I have reached the end of the road with Cruz because of his perverse, self serving abuse of religion.
“It’s my impression that Cruz only preaches to audiences where it’s appropriate, such as religious gatherings.”
You miss my point. The content of his religiosity is false, blasphemous and deceitful. He has become anathema.
Sickening sanctimony is common as dirt in politics and life. I cringed when Trump tried to demonstrate theatrical piety. That is always offensive.
Cruz is operating on a whole quantum level lower. He embraces false prophecy. In doing so he abandons Christianity. He allows his wife’s comments about seeing the “face of God” in his campaign to stand. He teaches his children how to fake their prayers for the benefit of the cameras. He associates with the inherently violent and globalist doctrine of the Seven Mountain Mandate. His is not garden variety sanctimony and hypocrisy. His excesses are diabolical cult material.
He plays with hell fire.
