PROOF=> Ted Cruz Cheating Scandal Not Linked to Trump Campaign – Was Started by GOP Elites
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 25, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/25/2016 9:40:59 PM PDT by bobsunshine

The National Enquirer published a story this week accusing Texas Senator Ted Cruz of multiple extramarital affairs.

.....

It was discovered that weeks ago a large number of Marco Rubio operatives and supporters were trying to bring the sex scandal story to the MSM attention.

Under the open guise of #TheThing they were communicating via various twitter feeds and following along to see if the story had been picked up. Most of the activity was centered around March 10th – March 15th.

Yesterday the hashtag CruzSexScandal went viral. Today, many of those DC operatives, participants, supporters, consultants, Super-PAC’s and campaign advisors have spent a great deal of time deleting their (The Thing) participation. The peak of their scrubbing coincided with Senator Ted Cruz accusing Donald Trump of planting the story.

......

Virtually everyone in the blog-o-sphere who supported Marco Rubio was active, tweeting, re-tweeting, or following the events related to #TheThing. Now they’re running for cover and trying to hide their fingerprints.

Anti-Trump Republican operative Rick Wilson tweeted this out weeks ago. (He has since deleted it.)

Actually, although I think Cruz’ remark about not wanting to copulate with Trump is actually an oblique reference to the adage “politics makes strange bedfellows” but it certainly is about the oddest thing I have ever heard a politician say.

Ted Cruz Responds to National Enquirer Allegations: ‘These Smears Are Completely False’

“I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage,” Cruz said

“These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack,”

http://www.mediaite.com/online/ted-cruz-responds-to-national-enquirer-allegations-these-smears-are-completely-false/

Ted Cruz is accusing Donald Trump and his “henchmen” of smearing him with a salacious tabloid story, which the Texas senator called “garbage” and “complete and utter lies.”

“Let me be clear, this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies. “

http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/25/politics/ted-cruz-national-enquirer-donald-trump/

These smears are completely false...this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies.

THOSE are Ted’s words. I don’t think they could be any more clear.

Let’s ignore the ‘donation’ for a moment. If it is found out that even one of the ‘affairs’ is true, then is Cruz a LIAR ?

I guess you are free to read whatever into a comment you want to.

I definitely don't see them as another Bill and Hillary, even if the media try to push the meme that way.

Like I said every marriage is a partnership. But I haven't seen any pics of Ted in a skirt.

If the NE stories are true, then I guess it was an 'open partnership'.

Teddy Cruz keeps accusing Trump when it was Marco Rubio’s people who were behind it. Cruz’s obsession with Trump is not quite normal.

“Trump and his pals in the tabloid media are fully attacking Cruz and his wife and their marriage. All over an ad some alleged supporters put out.”

“Alleged supporters”? It’s a Ted Cruz PAC, fer cryin out loud.

All Ted had to do to completely defuse this situation (at least on his end), was to unequivocally condemn the Melania Trump ad in his first statement.

He could have captured the high ground and held it, by refusing to politicize it in any way. It would have been easy for him to dispense with the whole thing in less than a dozen words.

When the ‘cheating’ allegations hit, he would have had at least a thin skin of armor, but he left himself with no shielding, because he’d already put a political spin on the prior issue.

To make matters worse, he then goes and blames Trump for the National Enqirer expose’. WTF? That’s desperation squared.

I’d be surprised if Ted has any toes left, given the way he’s been shooting himself in both feet.

I wish you and your a very Happy Easter as well.

I enjoy your posts and share your passion. What you stated here reflects my thoughts as well. It becomes necessary at some point to fight back, after being told how unChristian I my be by my vote choice. It doesn’t even make sense!

Flawed we are and in our brokeness, light shines in.

Have you ever taken a moment to note all the parallels between Zero and Ted?

There are eerie similarities between them.

"No, the PAC would have to purchase the license to use the image, or those rights would have to be transferred. If the latter, then there should be a paper trail."

Butt! Butt!! No interaction allowed by law!!!

Wasn't that the argument in days past, as to why Ted didn't condemn the PAC for the GQ photo smear???

Provenance of the photo used is still not established, twitter alone being just loose talk; but, a substantiated Jeff Roe involvement would be a major campaign problem

This is impossible because Cruz is the Establishment.

I heard it here on FR.

Exactly.

Still is.

In the absence thereof, however, the whole "Lyin' Ted" meme has gone around the globe more times than MIR.

In the end, it is typical Liberal BS. Facts are optional, accusation gets the headlines, the retractions are in fine print back by the public notices.

From what I have seen of those, they don't survive long. A year or two at most.

I think the NE article is bunk. But media savvy people understand that nowadays the people reading, twitting, or facebooking this crap will spread it like jelly on toast, sticky, sweet, and thick, without ever waiting to see if there is any truth to the allegations.

By the time the truth comes out they are on to the next thing and the whole meme will stick.

It has been thick and fast on this site, lately, too, when we used to dig through the reports of traditionally Liberal news sources and not even bother with others unless the story had been verified--or unless we had found the lies and posted the exposee ourselves.

Not so much now, where the fast-hit tweet mentality seems to be gaining traction, and the same thing gets posted in comment after comment by the same person.

Cruz’s health insurance is via Goldman Sachs and his wife is the big money earner in the family from her job there.
His wife wrote a CFR article on creating a North American open border /no nation alliance.

Who paid for Cruz’s campaign? A $1 million loan from Sachs.

If they pay him money and health insurance and fund his campaign, who owns Ted Cruz?

Goldman Sachs.

They also own Hillary Clinton as well.

It's really nothing new.

You should have been here for the TWA800 threads, or the FLDS threads, or the David Westerfield threads, or just about any religious thread.

I think the NE article is bunk.

My opinion is that the Donation to the Carly for America Pac is suspicious, and that Ted was having an affair with ONE of the women implicated by the NE photos. One of the five has come out and denied she had an affair with Curz, but the others haven't.

I think the NE included everyone they suspected MIGHT be having an affair with Cruz. The hooker thing bothers me as well. If Ted and his wife have had marital problems, and were living apart (a fact), then the chances that he might use a prostitute seem high. Especially since DC is a hotbed of prostitutes who make good money off rich politicians.

But.... I could just as well be wrong.

I think the best thing to do is wait this out until next week and see what turns up.
