Fox News Poll: Cruz, Kasich Ahead of Clinton In 2016 Hypothetical Matchups
By Dana Blanton Published March 23, 2016 FoxNews.com
Republicans are eager to win back the White House in 2016. A new Fox News national poll finds both John Kasich and Ted Cruz ahead of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in hypothetical matchups, while Donald Trump trails her. Kasich does best against Clinton. He has a double-digit advantage and also comes in above the 50 percent mark: 51 percent to Clintons 40 percent. Cruz is preferred over Clinton by three percentage points (47-44 percent). Clinton tops GOP front-runner Donald Trump by 11 points (49-38 percent).

“of devotion of con-man deity. “
And your guy is the magic underwear prophet from Texas with Capt. Looney Tunes.
Clinton and the libs already started on busTED today in her speech. She will tear him apart.
Looks like Trump has lost the Fox News watchers vote. It the beginning of the end of Trump.
Well there was a poll months ago a poll which has correctly predicted the winner of the General that has never been wrong - don’t remember how many decades but a lot - that said Sanders will be the next POTUS. FWIW.
Once again if a Trumpeter does not like the results of a poll then it must be wrong and here are the examples from a decade ago ... but if it is right then all is well in the world and naysayers are just plants for some other candidate etc. followed usually by some sort of attack. Just stop!
The nation goes overboard?
The world has grown full of peril. And in all lands love is now mingled with grief. The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife, stray but a little, and it will fail to the ruin of All. Yet hope remains while the Company stays true.
I will remain true to #TeamTrump.
I’m not saying it’s wrong. I’m saying 2 things. At this point it doesn’t matter because much of the country has already voted and the remaining states are a bit more on the liberal side. 2. This poll has Obama’s approval rating at 49%; I don’t know about you but to me that doesn’t sound like the Republican primary electorate. That’s all, no need to be upset with my opinion.
“Fox News poll......well of course Trump loses!!”
Only two polling outfits have ever shown Trump in the lead since he entered the race: FoxNews and USA Today/Suffolk. So were they wrong then too?
“Source. All you need to know.”
So they’re all wrong then. What source would you like?
Meaningless, popularity poll is meaningless.
Hillary will beat them all. The GOP field is a clown show. None of these guys have any integrity and the voters know it. I know Hillary has no integrity either. But if she runs against someone with no integrity, people will take the Democrat with no integrity.
Somebody turn over a rock. How many legs do you have.
Sorry, you’re at the wrong site. This is Free Republic, not Democratic Underground.
Look at RCP. Almost every poll out there has Clinton with a double digit lead over Trump. But Fox is out to get him.
Expected - Reagan was down by 20+ at this point.
There are polls upon polls. The most relevant, of course, are the state polls of likely voters. We’ve only had a few. One was OH primary, where Trump beat Cankles by 35,000 votes, even while coming in second. Another are the polls in FL, OH, and PA that have Trump beating Cankles.
Plenty of evidence. He who has ears, let him hear, he who has eyes, let him see.
There are far fewer white voters (the only swing voters) now. Reagan won CA, NY, and IL. Structurally impossible in those states for a GOP candidate today.
Trump is in deep trouble in the general election. Maybe it's possible, but the reservoir of available white voters to make a 20 point swing just isn't there today.
Good job.
