Donald Trump would lead either Ted Cruz or John Kasich in a two-way race, according to the results of a Quinnipiac University national poll released Wednesday. Asked whom they would like to win the GOP nomination, 43 percent of the 652 Republicans surveyed said they wanted Trump to emerge as the party's choice in Cleveland, followed by 29 percent for Cruz and just 16 percent for Kasich, with 9 percent undecided.

If Donald personally brought cases before SCOTUS, he’d be laughed out of court. What’s your point?

All Krispy’s disastrous Mooslim judges and the Obama love embrace on the beach do not redound to his credit as an honorable conservative.

“For me, that’s true of most politicians, but it has been especially disappointing to watch Cruz fall apart under the pressure of a tough national campaign.”

Cruz has fully embraced the establishment GOP. They will throw him aside at the first opportunity. There’s not a dime’s worth of difference between Cruz’s campaign and one of an establishment GOPer.

Now the Cruz supporters are ok with establishment GOP all of a sudden. Values and all.

Don’t overthink the results of the poll. In this case it was over before the poll was even taken. For Victory !

“Scorched earth in this context is when millions of mightily pissed off Trump supporters who were screwed over at the convention vent their anger at the general by voting against every down ticket republican. Thus costing the gop the house, the senate, the legislatures etc. Aka the gop-e enablers.”

Yep.

Sure as hell won’t be the Cruz supporters voting against the establishment down ticket. They are now 100% pro Establishment..the very same establishment they bitched and moaned about for months! All of a sudden, since their guy has come clean about his establishment connections, they are cool with it.

Talk about ‘values’,,,they just did a 180 degree flip from their prior position of wanting an “outsider”

So are they to be believed now? Now that backstabbing is really the name of their game and they are happy for the establishment funding for their guy?

These are the very same people that hold themselves up as TRUE conservatives. Well look at that. Guess those values do fluctuate when it’s convenient. But it’s ok when they do it. They’re our ‘betters’ you know.

Bunch of hypocrites.

I don’t care what polls say, Trump’s win in November will be of Reagan landslide proportions.

As opposed to Bedwetting, 101.

Get over it. Cruz already showed he is no debater, having lost 10 debates to TRUMP in landslides already, every single time.

I’m not making an argument for or against anyone dropping out, I’m asking a question — How does Trump do head-to-head against Hillary? THAT’s ALL.

If, as you claim, you have no argument, then your question is irrelevant.

Of course it is relevant. We want a candidate who can beat Hillary.

The Trump drones gave Trump thousands of votes on Drudge before the “debates” even began. The polls were farces.

No way, Trump loses. He’s too smart. He will communicate. His endorsements are meaningful.

I listened briefly to that idiot Beck. He was criticizing Trump because he used a teleprompter at the Jewish meeting.

He missed quoted Trump left and right.

The guy is constantly on a dry drunk. He’s immature, having the social mentality of a college guy, which was about the time he was diagnosed with his drinking addiction.

Trump can deal with these people. Trump doesn’t need these people. Cruz and the rest spent millions in Utah for a few delegates.

April Trump cleans house. He will have all the delegates he needs before June 8. I guarantee this.

Secondly, ISIS and the rest are planning something so horrendous here and abroad at soft targets, that it will singe the senses.

Trump appeals to all people.

Tomorrow, I hope to get us back on track.

Matched up against Trump and Cruz, both Clinton and Sanders lead by as much as 14 points, as is the case of Sanders' lead in a hypothetical race with Trump. On the other hand, Kasich outperformed both Democrats when tested head-to-head, leading Clinton 47 percent to 39 percent and Sanders 45 percent to 44 percent.

Based on that, vote Kasich.

Polls of hypotheticals mean little to nothing, even at this late date - many voters act differently when given the ballot.

Trump is not a life long Conservative and Cruz has been a major disappointment is this campaign, but either would be better than Hillary or Bernie.
