Party leaders plan to deny Trump the nomination even if he wins most of the delegates.
The Republican Party establishment is prepared to manipulate the rules at the party's national convention this summer to deprive Donald Trump of the presidential nomination -- even if he wins an outright majority of delegates -- according to longtime political operative and Trump confidant Roger Stone.
"The insiders have poured over the rules of the Republican Party ... and they have found a way to lie, cheat and steal Trump out of enough delegates to force a second ballot."
This time the Republican establishment is planning to engage in procedural chicanery in hopes of disqualifying Trump delegates before the convention even begins
"They’ve cooked up a strategy to be employed at all costs to steal delegates from Trump so that he’ll fall below the 1,237 on the first ballot," ...
The entrenched GOP elite will challenge the credentials of delegates elected in certain states...
Party leaders intend to invoke Rule 16(d) which Stone describes as a "byzantine concoction of legalese" that disqualifies delegates elected in a state that allows voters who are not registered as Republicans to vote in the Republican primary.
This could lead to Trump's 22 delegates from Massachusetts and 16 delegates from Arkansas being disallowed.
Trump's 25 delegates from Missouri could also be challenged because state rules are far from clear-cut.
Would-be kingmakers may invoke Rule 38 "which prohibits states from requiring their delegations from voting as a unit, by a majority vote of all members of their state delegation." It could be argued that delegates are not bound, even on the first ballot.

Are they floating trial balloons to see what the reaction will be to see if they can get away with nominating him at the convention? Only they know what’s in their minds, so I’m going to continue to let them know what’s in mine.

You will need to look deeply into your own county and state GOP conventions, and see how the delegates are being selected. Each state does it somewhat differently, so this has to come from the bottom up. If not you, who else? If new to politics you or a friend can google your lap top to find out who your
Precinct Committee person is in your neighborhood. Talk with them, they can help a lot. Find out who The GOP officers are in your County and State(or in some cases your Congressional District)Talk with them and ask them for County and State Convention Rules. They Should have them. Do not take no for an answer. This will be impressive. The rules should be online, also, if you need to. However, if they do not cooperate then call the State GOP Party Chairman of the Sand DEMAND one. Be relentless. This will bring pressure on them to play it straight, and know your people are watching- especially if you can rally others to do the same.
Once you know the score,find out who have registered to be delegates. Look for friends and acquaintances, and contact them. If none, then consider registering yourself, and encourage your friends to do so. Use every social and/or church net work you know.
It is not to late, but we must act now! Sorry, but we there isone shot to pull this off before the conventions and delegate eligibility rules are decided on a local, county, and state level. This where any Cabal and slight of hand will take place, before the National Convention. If you have the votes going in you will control the convention committee rules and agenda. Link up with some like minded old timers who have been through this before. They will be invaluable; helping you establish a communication network and official procedures. I did this for years until retiring, so you know it’s not rocket science.

If it looks like he is going to be cheated he needs to hold a press conference and ask all his supporters to do exactly as you said.

Again, the political parties are nothing more than an unconstitutional middleman in the presidential election process, imo, as enumerated in the Constitution by the Founding States.

Stupid is too kind and inaccurate. Their ‘stupidity’ is sinister connivance. They will gladly accept the ‘stupid’ criticism as a distraction from their real objective. Very simply, they are arrogant, greedy, self-empowered, political oligarchs who believe they have a right to continue to run rough shod over our lives as a means of enriching themselves.
So... You are urging folks to give Trump the presidency, and then immediately gut him like a fish by “punishing” the GOP with *SUPER-MAJORITIES* of demoncraps in *both* houses of congress?
First, let’s presume Trump could win the national vote by “write-in” votes — You do realize that your scenario would in effect make Trump a lame-duck president beginning immediately after the new super-majority dem congress was sworn in, right? His veto pen would be absolutely useless. Congress would set/control the agenda 100%, create law at their leisure, fully control the nominee confirmation process - *everything*. In which case, why would it matter who the President is?
But perhaps there is something about your scheme that I’m not seeing and I’m curious as to how you justify knowingly and willfully neutering Trump from the get-go after successfully winning him the White-House through an absolutely *heroic* write-in effort.
