ATLANTA - The day before Arizona Republicans cast their ballots, a new poll for FOX 5 and sister station FOX 10 Phoenix shows businessman Donald Trump is poised to win the Arizona primary with nearly 50% of the vote.
The poll conducted by Opinion Savvy shows Trump at 46%, ahead of Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 33%.
The poll shows the race narrows among early voters with Trump at 44% to Cruzs 38%.
Opinion Savvy Founder and Managing Partner Matt Towery, Jr. said, It is not expected that the race will come to such slim margins, as many Trump supporters eschew early voting, instead showing up on election day.

You caught on early, way in advance of most. :)
As a Cruz supporter
Crux ≠ Trump
Trump ≠ Cruz
We now have three lanes here.
Trump (Populism) / Cruz (Conservatism) / Kasich (should have run as a Democrat Republicanism)
Using your logic if Trump was really a Conservative he should work to Help Cruz instead of fight him.
I think the main reason Rubio stayed in so long and why Cruz and Kasich stay in is massive egos. If they truly wanted to stop Trump, they would 'fall on their swords' but they so badly want to be president, they keep paving the way for Trump.
That’s the key.
Yes - just like Florida was. Trump has shown he can win closed primaries - caucuses not so much.
I agree.
“Watching the many Cruzers who haven’t had their come to Jesus moment in recognizing their idol as a tin God fraud is hard to do.”
Many Cruz supporters here have recently quietly bailed on Ted, primarily because of Ted’s tacit approval of the Soros-funded rent-a-mobs that have just started practicing their full-frontal assaults on Trump and his supporters, with increasingly greater assaults planned for the future.
Several months ago, my family had bought into the carefully crafted, but now obviously false, image of Ted Cruz as anti-establishment warrior, brilliant Harvard graduate, brilliant debater, “true” conservative, etc. But this false facade has fallen away, at first rather slowly, but with increasing acceleration in recent days. It was a saddening, disillusioning process. So, I know how the many former Cruz supporters who recently turned away from Ted feel.
I never said Trump was a conservative. However his positions on illegals and taxes and trade are conservative. Cruz is a liberal in comparison.
According to this poll he is WINNING the conservative vote.
Cruz (or you) can label lanes all you want. It doesn’t mean anyone is going to drive in Ted’s.
“Hey, Mom! Look at me!” - Kasich.
I never have either lol
: )
Kasich is flying solo. The GOPe is whupped and without a plan. Trump won.
Watching the last couple of weeks has indeed been saddening and disillusioning. Some days, I can't believe what I'm seeing.
Lou Dobbs is excellent.
Maybe in the Western states, but in the Northeast, Kasich is more of a real threat to Trump than Cruz. Kasich will limit the number of delegates Trump would otherwise pick up in states like PA, CT, RI, and perhaps even NY (none of which are winner-take-all).
How is Kasich helping Trump? Trump wins either way.
Win the remaining delegates and stop whining.
Nevermind Trump can't get 50% in this FOX5 poll.
“Nevermind Trump can’t get 50% in this FOX5 poll. “
LOL!!!!
( WSJ is now 119 consecutive days of trashing Trump.
