They were serving a warrant in a small town, very late on a Saturday night, but as of 4PM, they had not released the name that was on the warrant, and who the dead person in the house is.
My daughter is about 10 miles away and said you would never expect it from this town. Too many law enforcement officers are dying.
I’ve been a cop for a long time now. Saddens me about the complete lack of respect many folks show police. I always kiss my family at night or in the morning before going to a job that most Americans could not handle.

I was just one of the thousands of people and hundreds of cops and firefighters lining highway 31 and intersections for the procession bringing this young man back to kokomo from Indy this afternoon. Must have been 300 or more vehicles in the procession from all over the state.
