When Donald Trump entered the presidential race, Laurie Towers liked how he was able to channel many Americans’ anger and frustration. But as the primary season ramped up, Towers, who is Mormon, increasingly found herself turned off by Trump.
“We have values and standards that he doesn’t hold dear,” Towers said of herself and other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As Trump continues to gain support from nearly every demographic that makes up the Republican primary voting base, primary results show that he is lagging behind with a small group: Mormon voters.

Meanwhile, the campaign of Sen. Ted Cruz, who has made religious liberty a cornerstone of his campaign, is expecting to do well here. He campaigned in the state Saturday with host Glenn Beck and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who are both Mormon.

I don’t expect to see Trump blown out in Utah. He may get defeated. So what this means is that a lot of folks did buy into his campaign and beliefs.
Everything is reported in negative terms as they apply to Trump.

Ted Cruz would not be in second place had he not taken the South for granted one of which is the respect of being heard. Cruz blew us off. Donald came and conquered.

I’m a Cruz guy. And I think Cruz is hated way more than Trump. And that’s why I like Cruz. When it comes down to it. I will vote for either.
Is all of Utah populated with Glenn Beck-type polyanna’s?
I wonder if Laurie Towers has taken the time to consider what her life would be like in an America ruled by Sharia Law. How about an America where millions of illegals have the political power to confiscate all of her hard earned wealth...just because?
And if these people think Beck is their friend, they better think again.
