Complete Headline: The Gloves Are Off: Trump Accuses Hillary Of Being "Involved In Corruption For Most Of Her Professional Life"

It's popcorn time.

Barely 24 hours after Trump launched his first Hillary attack ad in which he showed a laughing Putin respond to a barking Hillary, and shortly after Hillary's SuperPAC responded in kind with an ad of its own in which it used a Trump quote to mock him, the gloves are officially off, and now that both presidential candidates - both convinced they will face off against each other - are beyond the foreplay stage, the gloves have come off and the direct attacks are escalating rapidly.

So rapidly, in fact, that one may say Trump is risking a potential lawsuit with the following accusation (which, however, should not be too difficult to prove should one of Hillary's SuperPACs sue him for libel).

This is what Trump tweeted moments ago.

Hillary Clinton has been involved in corruption for most of her professional life!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2016

This is more than your typical political ad hominem - this is a material allegation with legal implications that goes to the core of Hillary's biggest weakness, her trustworthiness or complete lack thereof, and Trump's charges will only escalate from here on out, hopefully with actual examples. We look forward to Hillary's response.

One thing is certain: for the next six months, America will be entertained.

If she sued, Trump could have his legal team depose her and her associates under oath, after demanding that she produce both all Clinton Foundation documents and all her government activity documents. No way on Earth would Hillary proceed with a lawsuit. Therefore, Trump should blast her with specific accusations (cattle futures, S&L ripoff, Johnny Chung, pimping out the White House, deals for her brothers in Haiti, the uranium sell-out, etc.) and dare her to sue if he’s wrong.

Wonderful graphic. Every time I hear Bar-ack yap, I can’t help but think of Mars Attacks, and “Don’t Run, we are your friends!” The Queen of Mean thinks yapping is the secret of his success.

Trump’s written plan is Jeff Sessions’ plan, lifted wholesale. That plan is very good. The problem is, Donald Trump does not seem to be very familiar with it.

So which do you think offers a better window into the mind of Donald Trump, his own statements, repeated, into video cameras during interviews and televised debates, or somebody else’s plan on his website that he has, apparently, never bothered to read?

But I understand. You are emotionally invested in believing in Donald Trump. It is like trying to talk to your teenage daughter about her loser boyfriend. She just won’t see it. It is just too painful to admit that you were duped.

Your post was undeservedly patronizing.

Well, with the amount of vitriol being heaped upon me by Trump supporters these days, I think being a little patronizing is a minor sin.

If they go after Trump’s family, Trump will put the hammer down! I’ll bet he goes ballistic even if they attack his “ex’es”!

Trump’s life pretty much out there anyway....the FBI wouldn’t have anything that good reporters couldn’t dig up if they had half a mind to!

She can’t sue - same reason that AlGore cannot run for President again - they would both be HELD ACCOUNTABLE for their past (actions and claims).

Non-issue. Just paranoia on the part of that website.

I can now officially add Mitt Romney. Romney just admitted they’re using Cruz to stop Trump and nothing else.

What do Cruz supporters need to understand he is being supported by the gopE?

From the article...he said she was involved WITH corruption. He didn’t say she was corrupt...only involved with...

And, he’s right.

Travelgate for one. Whitewatergate, Rose Law firm, and many others, some of which she was fined for. So, his accusation would stand up because most of the issues became public.

she’ll be in the nervous hospital

“Nervous hospital”? {giggle}
I think you are trying to be very nice.

Mental institution is what we have in these parts, sarcastically called a ‘nut-house’. Politely called Treatment Centers in some parts, and in others State Hospitals.

But honestly, truthfully, I’m concerned about her health as a result of the upcoming pressure, also. I think she does have some valid health issues..my guess is a heart condition.

HG, we’ve had eight or ten months to vet the candidates. Understand that Trump supporters aren’t flocking to him, merely because he’s a bright and shiny object. No, many of us have taken the time to give the man a fair hearing, then having liked what we heard, taken Even more time to work through our doubts about him. Quite a few of us even began this campaign as staunch advocates for Ted Cruz.

I am such a person.

Trump means what he says. He’s got no reason to lie to us, and every reason to hold true to his campaign promises. He doesn’t need the job. We need him to fill the position.

I probably can’t say anything that will convince you to choose Trump over Cruz. That’s a decision you will or will not make for yourself.

How will he force them to build a wall?

He'll use slave labor, made from people who stood in his way during the campaign.

Like you, for instance.

Made you look.

Do you think Trump can arrange to have some Slim Whitman music piped into his first debate with Hillary?

Then why did the ever discerning Donald Trump continue to support her through donations?

You don't make enemies of people as powerful as the Clinton's until you're ready to take them down....

I don’t know about you folks, but I haven’t spent the last 24 years thinking of anything to do to this woman, except call her to account on all her treachery.

That’s why I am floored to know that anyone didn’t know what I meant here.

I don’t need to list the tens of issues she has not been held to account for. You both know what they are.

I think your post was aimed at humor Grey_Whiskers, but I thought folks would understand immediately what I was talking about.

And no, I wouldn’t word this any other way.

Not every day, but almost constantly every time I hear her name, this has been my wish, that someone would finally do what she has deserved many many times over the last 24 years.
