Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

Did you happen to see how sincerely, earnestly, and effectively Trump lied about the supposed fact that his Trump University received an “A” from the BBB, when in fact that grade was for a successor company? And Trump University actually did receive a D-?
Does it give you pause at all that 5,000 students from Trump University are suing him for fraud?
I can understand one or two or a dozen people suing him might be frivolous, but do you really think 5,000 would sue him if there wasn’t something there?
Doesn’t any of that bother you, or are you ready to just gloss over those minor little dishonesty details?
Trump has never asked me to believe that he perpetrated a bald faced and UNNECESSARY lie on nearly a hundred colleagues, maintained that lie for years, and only suddenly revealed that it WAS a lie when it became not merely politically expedient but a matter of political survival to do so.
He directly lied to you in the American public when he said that Trump university received an A. I guess your honestly value is only important under certain circumstances

At least for the vast majority of its existence Trump U had an A rating. The moral equivalent, since you seem to want one, would be if Trump stood before a group of 99 prospective pupils and told them Trump U had an A rating when in fact the rating was D. Then Trump would continue the A-rating lie for YEARS, and only reveal that it *was* a lie when his financial survival depended on doing so.
Why are you parsing this? You made a bold statement that Cruz is a liar. Therefore, implying that Trump is telling us the truth. I believe for the most part Cruz is a genuinely honest person. You sully his name by calling him a liar. Yet, you completely ignore any dishonesty from Trump, was been lying through his teeth about a variety of things not only during this election, but for his entire life. You consider it to be an act of dishonesty to be cheating on your wife? If so, you can’t dispute the fact that Trump has been dishonest . Just be honest about the fact that you can’t stand Cruz. It has nothing to do with whether he’s been dishonest. You have never been a supporter of Cruz, and nothing he does will please you. You support Trump, and nothing is going to change your mind. Don’t make excuses. Just fess up
This thread is about POLITICS, not ABOUT RELIGION and outside of the Muslim problem, we need to keep ALL religious chat off political threads. JMO, but there it is, as I find being PREACHED AT, PROSELYTIZED, and/or HARANGUED by preacher wannabes here to be highly offensive. I don't tell others what to believe in, nor do I condemn differences in Christianity, from my own beliefs. I'd appreciate the same from others!

I’m not the one saying Cruz is a liar. Cruz is saying Cruz is a liar. Here, let me print what he said. At the time, he presented it as sincere, earnest, honest truth. Years later, when his political life depended on it, he, not I, claimed it was all a pack of lies.

BTW, I know this history of the Gang of Eight bill well. I know he left in a path to legalization. However, the goal he was seeking with his amendment was to show the Gang of Eight did not have good faith to even remove citizenship off the table. He proved that by adding the amendment, and their refusing to consider it.
You’ve spent lines and lines about how detestable Cruz is over this one issue, yet I notice you spent no time dealing with Trump’s foibles, other than glossing over Trump University.
Just admit it.

Don’t make this a character issue, because Cruz has 10 times the character that Trump has.
