Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."
"Let's be intellectually honest about what's going on here -- Donald Trump is scared to debate Ted Cruz next week,"

No more debates. Tired of them
Crackpot phony Levin has been pushing this one on one debate idea , with the belief that it will hurt Trump ...agree or not , Trump ends up handing Cruz his rear end time and time again ...most of Ted’s current positions have been stolen from Trump and wrapped in the Reagan banner ...unreal
Cruz is not nearly the fearsome debater that he fancies himself to be. Rubio turned him every which way but loose, and I don’t think Rubio was all that good.
Good night all. Its been real and fun! Have a great evening!
Good luck with that.
That is really rich coming from a Trump supporter.

Yep ...the Bushbot’s going to Cruz was the big tell ...the rest of the GOPe will follow suit ...
FOX even offered Cruz a 2 hour Townhall, but he declined.
It appears that Cruz is scared to face a grilling for 2 hours.
Dumb move, considering that Trump explained that his reason for skipping the debate was because he had already committed to speak at AIPAC, and this was a last minute attempt by Fox to wring some good advertising revenue out of the candidates.
...Cruz doesnt use his children as props. Get a clue...
Stand in actors? Or the real kids?

VERY smart on Trumps part to terminate these debates: winners dont debate losers; not to mention, its time to start debating Hillary instead, and stop making a spectacle of GOP candidates tearing each other apart.
So when Trump wins the nomination here will come Cruz saying “Hey Congrats. We’re good now right? Right? Huh?”
Yeah, OK, don't mess with Texas, and all of that, big deal.
The suggestion that somehow Trump fears Cruz is absurd.
Given the number of debates that have taken place, there's nothing new to be learned from further debates. PLUS from a strategic standpoint, why would a leader want to debate someone in second place at this point?
As far as the negative rhetoric on FR is concerned, I get it. I don't necessarily like it either but they don't seem as though they want to do much about it.
So, you have to either tolerate it or vote with your feet.
Exactly he was all for freedom of speech with Mohammed cartoons, but when it hit too close to home, he was outraged.
There you go Cruz, burn all the bridges down, every damn one of them.
No use debating a baby Cruz. Enough debates and nothing new to talk about. And these poor babies on FR that have no idea. Trump would take Cruz down if they debated. Because all Cruz is is talking points that he memorized and easy to attack.
Trump for President.
